not-in-use-anymore Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Dietrich was not in KotCS, that was Dovchenko. Dietrich's in raiders. I know, but he was using the same exact parts as a KotCS russian. Quote
Legomaster34 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I put my ideas in there so you wont have to go up and down trying to see what I'm talking about. :P Thanks for the ideas! I've already edited some of them in and I might add pictures. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Here is actually my take on Dietrich... German Soldier hat Rebel Commander 'frown' head Russian Soldier torso German Soldier legs. Quote
Zapper Brick Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Is there a different Werewolf torso from the Studios line that I'm unaware of? I'm still not understanding how this would make an accurate torso for anyone in the Indiana Jones universe. I think he's refering to this torso/minifig, and not the werewolf here. Also, the "Rebel Commander" head that Legonater refered to here would also work for Wu-Han. Here is actually my take on Dietrich...German Soldier hat Rebel Commander 'frown' head Russian Soldier torso German Soldier legs. Didn't Dietrich have a green hat? Quote
BaronSat Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Hi, Cool topic! So cool it makes me want to have some of these missing characters. Here my contribution : Simon Katanga, movie version. Head is Mace Windu Clone Wars one Hips are from Han Solo dark blue legs from Cantina set (4501) Neckpiece is a white Technic rubber band and voilà! And with the black visor (photoshoped... I'm too lazy to paint Thanks guys for your cool ideas and photos. Quote
pedro Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 TOHTheadpiece:black fedora head: Harry Potter (scar removed) (new) neck item:none torso:Shanghai Chase Gangster legs:black For the torso I reckon it's best to use the black suit. I got mine from the female horse rider in 6735. Here my contribution : Simon Katanga, movie version. Captain Katanga! Nice work BaronSat, and easily replicated too. An alternative for those shying away from Clone Wars heads would be to use the older Mace Windu head or Seso's from the new Prince of Persia line - I'm sure it'd look great. Quote
The Legonater Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Here my contribution : Simon Katanga, movie version. very nice. Katanga was a wonderfull charecter- I almost wish he got more movietime. I'll be on the lookout for a good torso for him. Quote
Zapper Brick Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Clone Wars Katanga. It's good, but it might look better without the rubber band, I always thought the CW Mace Windu head looked squished or shrunk in the wash, and with the rubber band it looks even more squished. Besides that, very well done! Quote
kevblee Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 You asked for pics and here they are! Map Room Indy complete with staff of Ra, Sallah and Belloq. Quote
Zapper Brick Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 You asked for pics and here they are! Map Room Indy complete with staff of Ra, Sallah and Belloq. Very nice! Now all we need is a white Sallah map room torso. Quote
kevblee Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 What did you use for the headpiece? It's all Lego. The headpiece is the gold center sprue that holds the 4 gold coins together. The center jewel is a red lightsaber! Quote
The Legonater Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) It's all Lego. The headpiece is the gold center sprue that holds the 4 gold coins together. The center jewel is a red lightsaber! Oh, I through all those out. Did you just chop a section of the lightsaber, then? Edited May 5, 2010 by The Legonater Quote

The Legonater Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 That's nice... but are there any already-made torsos for Vogel? Quote
JeagerEX Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) That's nice... but are there any already-made torsos for Vogel? There's no existing torsos for Vogel, but you can use some premade German WWII officer decals with permission to the original decal creator. Captain Katanga! Nice work BaronSat, and easily replicated too. An alternative for those shying away from Clone Wars heads would be to use the older Mace Windu head or Seso's from the new Prince of Persia line - I'm sure it'd look great. I agree to use the older Mace Windu head or Seso for Simon Katanga, but for while his skin tone in the game was purely black. The better idea is use brown skin-toned head and don't make it dark brown to avoid racial discrimination. Edited May 20, 2010 by JeagerEX Quote
YG-49 Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 (edited) "Sallah - I said NO CAMELS!" Sallah: Featuring a custom fez, with a stud to keep the LEGO look. Decal by ED-209. Edited May 30, 2010 by YG-49 Quote
JeagerEX Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 (edited) Great ideas for some of the extra characters... just need to get my hands on a fez now! Here's my take on Major Toht... I used the newest Harry Potter head for Toht - it's definately the most appropriate. I very carefully removed HP's scar using Peek metal polish. The hat is from 7682 and the torso is from the rider in 7635. That's great! The better idea is use an angry face version of Harry Potter. Edited May 31, 2010 by JeagerEX Quote
The Legonater Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 "Sallah - I said NO CAMELS!" I've always loved that line... That's a REALLY nice job, BTW. Quote
