Ricecracker Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 A question regarding Fellows, Alice only has 500+ posts, and she's a Fellow... How did that happen? Is she some sort of informant/spy? A fellow Fellow or staff member nominated her, the Fellows voted, with (I'm assuming) more than 50% in favour and she became a fellow Quote
Siegfried Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 A fellow Fellow or staff member nominated her, the Fellows voted, with (I'm assuming) more than 50% in favour and she became a fellow Something like that. In short, Fellows (normally not staff) pick other Fellows by their own standards and rules, which change depending on the membership. That's all I'm at liberty to say, but I will emphisise that the staff do not pick Fellows and that post number plays little part. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I see. Well, good luck to the next future Fellow. We should probably get back on topic, no? Quote

Piranha Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Is there a tag limit? On a profile page I see space for 3 tags, yet some have more The only reason I could think of is that each are not separate but are combined Which technically could mean that many more tags are possible Quote

On a profile page I see space for 3 tags, yet some have moreThe only reason I could think of is that each are not separate but are combined Which technically could mean that many more tags are possible I was wondering about this too. Good thinking, it turns out that you were right. Shadows, for example, appears to have seven tags. However, if you click and drag one of the four tags on top (or copy/ paste for those with a different browser than Firefox), you'll see that they're all one image, so the tag count doesn't exceed four. This way, up to sixteen tags are allowed on one profile. Clever thinking, staff. Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Is there a tag limit? Yes, there is indeed a tag limit in the system. On a profile page I see space for 3 tags, yet some have moreThe only reason I could think of is that each are not separate but are combined Which technically could mean that many more tags are possible Err... This is a valid point. Quote
Stauder Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 That's one of those which as Shadows said, "given for Participation" Or "general annoyance", interpret it how you wish Stauder. Quote

Ricecracker Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 There are no wings... . And he got it from this: I am allowed to. And yeah, walked right into that one... Or is it I that am predicting the Mod's moves? Muhahaha, dance my puppets! And: Pay attention to who is playing the music, little dancer Quote
YG-49 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 There are no wings... . And he got it from this: Close enough. Quote
Ricecracker Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Close enough. I was talking about the tag . Quote
Piranha Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 hmmm, ok guys I think we should continue this discussion somewhere else (like a secret fairy guild thread ) Or else one of the mods might notice I take 20% of the blame for bringing it up, but it was mostly a fairy mod who started it I also will have the last word, in the tag there is clearly wings! Ok now we are done Quote
LuxorV Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Just to close this (and I maen do not add further post on this matter; if you wish, you can contact me on PM), I'll tell you those are not wings and the tag is not a fairy but a ballerina. This is what I'd use for a Fairy tag. LuxorV Quote
