Chuck Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 (edited) To acquire one:1) Do not mention about how to acquire one 2) Make good creations that are very unique, aesthetically pleasing, etc. ? These are just my takes But, I guess it's just a tag to compliment builders here... I see -Chuck Edited April 25, 2008 by Chuck Quote
The Bricksmith Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 The first rule of MOC Expert is don't talk about Moc Expert, The second rule of Moc Expert is don't talk about Moc Expert... I think the tags are useful and as far as Fabuland since it is an old series i think the tag is usefull. Could it link to the Fabuland pages perhaps? Quote
Siegfried Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Could it link to the Fabuland pages perhaps? Nice idea, but the system doesn't support that. Quote
Scouty Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Imperial Scouts speaks true. I wonder why members here space my username when there is not usually a space. I mean, I'm fine with it, I just wonder why a space is being added . Oh, topic, yeah. Truth, what I spoke. Thanks ! Quote
Hinckley Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I wonder why members here space my username when there is not usually a space. I mean, I'm fine with it, I just wonder why a space is being added . Sheesh, I can't spell your name wrong, I can't call you Imperial Shadows. What can I do? The question has been sufficiently answered. Topic closed. Quote
Buttons Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Just a little question. This is nothing personal but on Skyowl's sidebar if you like( in a thread ) He has a Great Britain flag, amongst all of his other symbols. I was wondering if this is just a regulator thing or something like that or could a regular user ( like myself ) be able to proudly flaunt my nationality. Thanks Buttons Quote
Tim Bit Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Yeah I've always been wondering why they have that to. Could someone tell us PLEASE! Quote
Dennimator Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Only MODs/Admins (and fellows? CopMike does have one, too) can have them. It´s just there ´for fun´ and so that other members know where they come from. Forgive me if I am wrong, this is what someone else replied me when I asked the same question when I was new here. Quote
Tim Bit Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Thanks for shedding some light on that dennimator. Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I can verify what Dennimator said. He speaks the truth indeed! Quote
Erdbeereis Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Yep, Fellows and above have the flags. Quote

You know, you can change your Location in your Profile, which will then appear under your avatar Quote
Buttons Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Who is SkyOwl? That has happened before I always almost forget your name ... Quote
eti Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Well it would be nice if non-fellows or whatever those ranks are called could have a flag if they wanted to... and if those guys of high ranking could not have it. But that's just my opinon - love this site but I hate the ranking system. I still will hate when I'm a fellow or vassal or whatever it's all called. I know it's just for fun but I don't think it's much fun, that's all.. Quote
Zenox Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) I wasn't sure where this goes, so please don't ban me. What are those small images under some peoples member numbers? Pirate flags, gold coins and classic space logo. Can i get them somehow? Edited July 29, 2009 by Zenox Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I wasn't sure where this goes, so please don't ban me. This would go under Website and Forums, but it's okay, you won't be banned just for that! What are those small images under some peoples member numbers? These pictures you are referring to are called Tags. You can earn them, if you work hard. Such as the bronze, silver, and gold bottle-cap-like tags that have the "R" on the are showing your status in the Reviewer's Academy. Bronze is earned by becoming a graduate, silver for being between graduate and teacher, and golden is for being a teacher. This is what you are talking about, correct? Quote
The Rancor Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 However, MOST tags will only be earnt by gaining 'fellow status' which doesn't happen very often nowadays. Other tags are IMPOSSIBLE to get because they are for games etc. that have already happened. Onlt the reviewers academy tags are ones that can be earnt by any level of member. Quote
General Armendariz Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Pirate flags Pirate flags are if you work in the shipyard that is a place to discuss working on the internet site Classic-Pirates.com We work very hard to keep that site up and running Quote

Onlt the reviewers academy tags are ones that can be earnt by any level of member. Umm...no. there's the mafia tag, which is earned by participating very well, and/or winning a mafia game. Then there's the star wars tag, which is earned by contributing to the SW forum a lot. There's also a newer one for winning contests in the SW forum. There's a fabuland builders guild tag, classic space, MOC expert, customizer, etc. etc. A lot of the people who get these aren't fellows. Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 There are a number of Pirate tags - there is the Pirate Editor tag which is a skull with blue bandana and belongs to most of The Crew, the Admiral tag which has the word 'Admiral' on it and belongs to Admiral Zorro, there is the Governor tag which belongs to Mister Phes, and there is the Shipyard Master tag which is a skull in a tricorn which is worn by myself and Erdbeereis. These tags are used to reward our hard working Classic-Pirates.com members who assist in maintaining Classic-Pirates.com, writing content and creating graphic for the frontpage, and planning contests. They are only given out to those who deserve them. Quote
LuxorV Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I'll move this to Website and Forums; and you won't be banned As for the question, I see the other people here already gave you some good answers. I would just want to add that there are a lot of tags (SW, MCW, MOC Expert, FBG, and so on) which are meant to be awared to those members who in many ways show a particoular partecipation, interest and care for the respective areas of the forum. We like to award quality over quantity, but we like to award dedication over all. Btw, if you want to know how I came by my Heart of Gold tag, you must know that, right at the beginning of my stay here, I crossed the mad path of ImperialShadows and partecipated to a contest hosted by him and Mr.Mandalorian based on the HHGTTG. I was so taken by the concept that I created 7 vigs portraying episodes of the saga. As a reward for my efforts, I got the title Heart of Gold. When that was changed to the actual one, I got the tag in its place. LuxorV Quote
prateek Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) What does the toaster mean? And just curious, how do you get a country flag? Edited July 29, 2009 by prateek Quote
Millacol88 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 What does the toaster mean? And just curious, how do you get a country flag? The toaster is just a joke between Stauder and Imperialshadows. Dragonator and Whitefang are now involved too. Fellows and admins/moderators/regulators are the only ones who can get country flags. Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Fellows and admins/moderators/regulators are the only ones who can get country flags. Actually, no, Millacol! Captain Zuloo has a country flag as a tag, and he's a Duke. Quote
