Millacol88 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I think it's a bit early for that. Although, if, after a little while, a few people emerge as being quite skilled with brickfilms, then why not give them a tag? Quote
General Armendariz Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) Seriously, pinning rarely is a complete solution as people often ignore pinned topics or think their issue is a separate (or more important) one when it's not. Besides; there are already too many topics pinned in this forum. Actually, in the pirates forum things are pinned all the time. then, in a heartbeat its tooken ofthe pinned board. a few people emerge as being quite skilled with brickfilms, then why not give them a tag? Why thank you good man Edited July 31, 2009 by General Armendariz Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Not everyone gets one in the shipyard, only the top dogs. Hehe, I feel special. Quote
YG-49 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Hehe, I feel special. You should also feel special now because my inspiration for the brickfilms tag was your sig-fig. Quote

Country flag, is only given by Eurobricks Staff, and it is awarded to members whom are part of the Staff team, Eurobricks Fellows, and certain appointments only. Thanks. Quote

Shadows Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Since Brick Flicks and Comics were brought up, I can tell you that I have a variety of theme and activity related tags in the works. Tags for both of those have been done since the planning stages of the subforum, but the program for rewarding them hasn't been determined yet. Tags generally are rewarded for achievement, participation, fans of a theme, and occasionally for general annoyance and aggravation, so stay tuned, you never know what might appear. That said, like titles, don't ask for it, don't beg for it, don't post repeatedly thinking it'll get you noticed. It will get you noticed, but you won't like the results. On the other hand, bribery has been proven to be effective for a great many things, why not try here? Quote

Luke McAwesome Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 We never ban anyone for being under-aged. We ban people for behaviour only... I quote from the rules you posted yourself: Age: Eurobricks is a site intended for an adult audience. The minimum age for members is 18. We reserve the right to ban anyone who does not meet that requirement. Posting that you are under 18 is a quick way to be banned. Quote

I believe that's there as a deterrent to us younger ones, but once we are here, they won't necessarily ban us because of it. I could be wrong, though. Quote
Siegfried Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I quote from the rules you posted yourself:Age: Eurobricks is a site intended for an adult audience. The minimum age for members is 18. We reserve the right to ban anyone who does not meet that requirement. Posting that you are under 18 is a quick way to be banned. Indeed it did. It also says.. Staff: The staff are here to help you. Do not debate staff issues with them. But ignoring that, it didn't say that we will ban you if you are under 18. It said that we reserve the right and that it's stupid to highlight that you joined while being under 18. However, I agree that the statement didn't reflect our policy so I've been meaning to change that post for a while. I just did and it now says; Age: Eurobricks is a site intended for an adult audience, which for the purpose of these guidelines are people of around the age of 18 or greater. We reserve the right to ban anyone who does not meet that requirement. Posting that you are not an adult is a quick way to be banned. If you choose to ignore these guidelines and sign up anyway, it is not our responsibility if you are offended by what you read or see. Similarly, if you are an adult who is offended by what is often labeled as adult content, you should probably avoid this site. The difference? This one gives only a rough idea of what an adult is, and says that we will ban you if you don't act like one. In short I've de-emphisied the age. Happy? Quote
