Posted March 15, 201014 yr Hello! Lakeside after the storm: fallen tree, damged pier and a lot of work to do... You can see more pictures in my gallery. Enjoy!
March 15, 201014 yr That's amazing Lolas , lots of good action and minifig posing. My favourite part is the fallen over tree with the roots coming out of the ground, can't wait to see more MOC's from you!
March 15, 201014 yr The shed is waaaayyy too black. It almost looks like something out of 'black fantasy.' Other than that, great work. Steve
March 15, 201014 yr Excellent MOC 'Lolas', fantastic fallen tree roots and all......oh yeah that other tree is cool too ! The guys swimming or drowning whichever you look at it - clever design ! Awesome river too ! - lots of 2x1 trans-blue tiles - a lot of cop cars are missing their flashing light ! Great work 'Lolas' and I'm a conformist! !
March 15, 201014 yr Wonderful job, really! I love how you've done the trees and of course the water technique
March 15, 201014 yr Very great! I also checked your other creations, and I must say, you have clever ideas on how to make things laying in the water in a very realistic way!
March 15, 201014 yr Very nice Lolas. I like the water, especially with the extra round 1x1 plates around the objects. The barrel looks really neat half way in the water. Great tree designs, although I must agree w/ Athos in regard to the black shed. While it looks fantastic, brown would have made it that much better. I think this should be front-paged! Great job!
March 15, 201014 yr Author Thank you! I'm glad you like it :-) I'm still in 80s about colors and wooden objects have to be black for me :-) Brown is acceptable in minor parts only to make some contrast ;-) It's hard to switch from balck to brown: old brown is harder to buy, I don't like Reddish Brown. Dark Brown is perfect for me, but it's still expensive and just a few parts are available. I'm waiting for items like Round Brick 1x1, Tile 1x6 etc. in Dark Brown. Hope they will appear soon ;-) Then I will be ready to change my mind about color of wood ;-) P.S. Currently I'm working on another diorama and I have built Dark Brown tree because there's a black pier in front of it :-) Ahh this damn contrast ;-)

March 15, 201014 yr Wow, a truly beautiful moc, and even with the black, it offsets beautifully, and honestly examining trees around here the black works a lot better then brown. So excellent work and keep bricking
March 15, 201014 yr Very nice moc Lolas. The drowning minifigure and fallen tree is a nice touch to the moc. Looking foward to your next moc.
March 15, 201014 yr Awesome creation! I love the nature and all the action going on. The water is especially nicely done. I like the way you did the shore, with white bricks beneath. All the splashes give it a very natural feeling. Your other creations are also amazing. I especially like the mill. Great job on the photography also!
March 15, 201014 yr I love the details! The pictures are great and funny too. You spent a lot of time with the details for sure. The barrel splash in the water, the man falling in while carring a barrel. The burnt black small house is really kool looking. Each picture on your moc page is so full of details! Very nice.
March 15, 201014 yr Welcome to Eurobricks :) You really have excellent MOCing skills - I love your MOC and I personally feel that it is great to see black being used, as I myself was a child in the 80's where the colour palette wasn't quite as rich. Besides; your decision to use black instead of brown makes your MOCs stand out from many of the otherwise excellent MOC on Eurobricks I can't wait to see your next MOC.
March 16, 201014 yr "Wow" doesn't really do my words justice. I think my favorite parts are the minifigs in the water - absolutely awesome details there :)
March 16, 201014 yr Nice work Lolas After "mini dark age" it`s nice to see you back in business. Diorama is awesome but you know it
March 16, 201014 yr Amazing job! All the construction is full of wonderful details ...I've never seen a scene so real ...also the colour of water is really impressive: it becomes light near the sand! I love the way you build the house ...a complex architecture for a simple look! Nice work!!! P.S. I like the black colour for the wood, and I share your opinion about the brown (I'm an old lego fan!)
March 19, 201014 yr Great MOC! Really awesome. I love the guys falling into the water, the guys pouring the wine, and the "amateurish woodcutter." -Jed
March 27, 201014 yr Awesome MOC. One thing though, why are the trees and shack black? Very unique. Otherwise, great MOC. ~SR~ Edited March 27, 201014 yr by Lego_Warlord_8
March 28, 201014 yr Really cool moc. I especially like the shack and the fallen tree! (with roots --> cool!)
