Posted March 15, 201014 yr Well, hello to everyone again. I decided that for my first "MOC" that I would share; I would show you the one I am most proud of. I have many others that I have made that I will get up eventually. But for now, feast your eyes on the HMS... well, I can't think of a name! I thought of Phoenix... sounds cool, but doesn't really go with it in any way, nor does Enterpise which is unoriginal and inaccurate to the ship's design, which may not have ever existed, I confess, anyway! Any suggestions? Here is a nice establishing shot. Head on angle. A side shot where you can see the various crew at work. Slightly tilted angle of the last view. These roof panels open to reveal the wheelhouse/cabin interior. A rear angle view shows off the detailing at the stern of the ship. Slightly different angle shows off more features. As you can see, the treasure holding area can also be manned. A view of the bow's interior show's a soldier napping on his bed. You can also see the lower deck cannons. The anchor mechanism. Here you can see the cook at work below the bridge area. A reverse angle to show you his stove with cooking bowl atop it. Here you can see the stove I made unobstructed. The Admiral and Lieutenant meeting and discussing future plans. Top view of the same scene. The trusty crew. Some other angles, minus mini-figures. For some reason, the camera changes the blue sometimes. Partially deconstructed front deck reveals a better view of the anchor mechanism. The anchor deployed. Another view of this. Well, there she is. Have to say this one has gone through many versions and I think I am finally satisfied with it. I had been wanting to add those lanterns to the front for quite some time! Please forgive perhaps the some of the shoddy camera work and some design elements borrowed from Imperial Flagship. I'm not a pro photographer and I worked with what I had, heh. Also, I really liked some of those design elements, and I figured, in the case of the sails, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Questions, comments, constructive criticism are all welcome. March 16, 201014 yr This ship is good but i think that it is relying on the imperial flagship too much. other wise pretty good. i liked the bunk and the galley as well " The ship, where going to steal the ship?" "Commandeer, where going to commandeer that ship" Jack Sparrow and Will Turner in POTC 1
March 16, 201014 yr A pretty nice little ship, I like the details you worked in, and don't worry, post on the sci-fi forum and you'll be entirely used to no comments but joking aside, a nice little ship, I like it!
March 16, 201014 yr Author A pretty nice little ship, I like the details you worked in, and don't worry, post on the sci-fi forum and you'll be entirely used to no comments but joking aside, a nice little ship, I like it! Hah thanks. Yeah Brickmaster (I was about to ask if that is an alt but I realized they aren't allowed here. ) I probably could make some modifications to change it from the Imperial Flagship. Although, if I am honest it really did start out as a modified one and slowly evolved like this. But, you have to admit that it's a good basis! Oh, I will be posting in the Sci-fi forum pretty soon. I made some pretty cool spaceships that I'm planning on sharing, a big pirate port, a cutter and a small pirate ship, and some cool town vehicles.

March 16, 201014 yr Author Also, there may not be many comments but at least nearly 200 people looked at my ship. And, what do you recommend for cleaning? I am gonna' buy a new can of compressed air today. Please don't say to wash with soap and water. Do you know much a pain in the neck it is to dismantle those ships with all that rigging, and such? Not to mention, I don't exactly have instructions for things I created myself. Edited March 16, 201014 yr by Skulls_Eye_Schooner_Sailor
March 16, 201014 yr most of my ships haven't been cleaned yet, but the ones with not so complex rigging I wash the sails by hand with water, else wise they just hang, and for the bricks, I only do compressed air, nothing fancy and true, while we may not have a lot of comments a lot of views is always nice
