This looks like a great little set. I agree it would have been better as a little proper set, rather than a promo. I'd trade this for that small catapult thing any day (yes, even with the gold cheese ).

Seems like a nice little set, great minifig. But this set needs a shield, like many similar sets before this, it isn't complete without a shield.

I have to say that I don't like that dragon symbol. I really liked the other one that they had at the toy show. I do hope that they will not all have that emblem. I am really happy though that the torsos and shields are printed and not decals.

Thanks metalandi for reviewing this awesome set for us! And what an awesome set it is. That minifig is so cool, I can't wait to get my hands on some of these Kingdoms sets. The little battering ram thing is a neat little build, but also a nice little parts pack. Thanks again, metalandi!

What do you mean? I don't remember seeing a different dragon symbol on the torsos. The shields have a different one, though. Also, it's pretty obvious the shields and torsos won't be stickers.

Very nice set. It looks like Lego's new castle theme is getting off to the right start. Simple, clean and concise. All good qualities of a small set. Too bad it doesn't include any of the new castle pieces they are releasing like the helmets and horse armor.

If too many people view your photos in photobucket, you get the 'bandwidth exceeded' message. So either pay up to go pro or move them to flickr or brickshelf.

A very nice small set. But I am wondering, that you paid 9.50 for that promotion set. In Germany I was able to purchase 10! of them for just 1.99 € each set today. It is awesome. Isn´t it? So I finally got my Dragonknight-armybuilder for increasing the ranks.

Where can I get that Lionknight-Crossbowman promotion set? It is not sold at Bricklink, Ebay or anywhere else.

Great review there. i love the figure and may have to pick it up if i see it in stores, nice army builder.. keep the reviews coming, make me spend more of my money :)
