MetroiD Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Wow, you boys do seem to be in quite a hurry! Did you not hear Pvt. Entaine's words that he can actually vouch for Pvt. Reutal's actions during the night? Of course, I have no reason to put my faith blindly into anything that Pvt. Entaine says, but I have just as much reason to trust your judgement - especially when you both seem to have become so trigger-happy all of a sudden. Let's use some logic for a change here, shall we. If we do accept that Pvt. Entaine is telling the truth and Pvt. Reutal had nothing to do with last night's murders, that means that for two nights in a row, our supposed "killer" has done nothing, even though all the odds have been stacking up against him. This just doesn't look right - he MUST have made a wrong step with all this pressure on him - especially if he's the killer indeed. And now is the time to find out whether there was such a step - so we can be sure about who and why we are convicting here. Pvt. Entaine - your information could be crucial here, so it might be a good idea to share some more info on how you and Pvt. Reutal spent the night... without going into the more intimate stuff please
Bob Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Vote: Sgt. Stanely Hemphill If Private Perot is correct, he matches both the yellow epaulets, and the shako. Oops, that's Vote: Sgt. Stanely Hemphill / Stash2Sixx
Captain Genaro Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Oops, that's Vote: Sgt. Stanely Hemphill / Stash2Sixx I compleatly agree that our Sarge is a deserter, however I think we need to finnish what we have started and vote for Pvt. Reutal. Also, if our investigator is correct, then we also have the killer, which could buy us more time that we desperatly need. If too many honored are killed, then we might be over run. I urge you to revote for Pvt. Reutal so that we may finally be ridden of his filth. Let us once and for all finish what we have started. I Vote: Pvt. Reutal/ Dragonator. Third time pays for all right.
Alice Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Pvt Reutal didn't go anywhere last night. If he were committing some sort of act at night as a deserter, he would have to leave his tent. I think he is less harmful than some of the other deserters who are sabotaging us at night. I refuse to vote for him based on that evidence. After the incident with Pvt Yellman and Pvt Perot in which they were hiding Perot's identity, they are both suspicious to me.

After the incident with Pvt Yellman and Pvt Perot in which they were hiding Perot's identity, they are both suspicious to me. If you'd tell us how you know this I might be more inclined to believe you. I know what I saw - a blood-stained rag, a knife and a letter identifying him as a deserter. It's pretty hard for me to believe he's not scum after having seen that.
Alice Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I know because I was hiding in his tent and watching him the entire night. I don't know how to be more clear about that. I saw nothing out of the ordinary. I have no confirmation that he is loyal or a deserter. I just know that he didn't do anything suspicious last night. I plan to watch him again tonight if he lives through the day.
RileyC Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I know because I was hiding in his tent and watching him the entire night. I don't know how to be more clear about that. I plan to watch him again tonight if he lives through the day. He could have known you were in his tent surveying his every move so he decided not to kill anyone tonight because you would see him kill them. Since we dont really have much new information except for Pvt. Entaine's statement Im really considering carrying on what we were so close to doing which is vote of Pvt. Reutal.
Alice Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 He did not know. The voice in the sky told me that I was very very sneaky and well hidden.
Shadows Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Back and forth we go. We tried to kill Pvt. Reutal day after day and failed, almost like the voice in the sky was helping him live on, maybe to tell us something, so let's try a new approach... Pvt. Perot, you presented your information through another soldier like a coward. You didn't stand behind it that day and even called it into question. You haven't provided anything further. You could be right, but all you've done is cause us to be inactive. So, per your request to test your sanity by killing someone, the only person you can rightfully offer is yourself, so here you go. Vote: Pvt. Perot / TinyPiesRUs And if you end up being loyal, we can kill the other two next. In the end, we still gain.
Rick Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I know because I was hiding in his tent and watching him the entire night. I don't know how to be more clear about that. Reutal day after day and failed, almost like the voice in the sky was helping him live on, maybe to tell us something, so let's try a new approach... I was pretty convinced Pvt. Reutal was the deserters' night killer. But now that he's been watched at night and he was found to not do anything out of the ordinary I'm starting to think we may have been wrong all along. Provost Guard Ian Des was killed last night, that must mean that there was some deserting scumbag out killing. And, as Pvt. Shadón points out, considering there never seems to have been a consensus vote for him, it might be time to start exploring alternatives... Sigh, we have some thinking to do this afternoon. We cannot afford to loose another honored.
AwesomeStar Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 No, no, no! Too many honoreds are dying! This madness has to stop! The killer must be caught, he MUST be caught... ...But whom? I agree with Shadon, I'm afraid. It is extremely dishonorable to deliver such important and needed information behind the back of a fellow soldier. Have you no respect, man?! While I too was sure that it was Private Reutal who was deserting and murdering, it seems that we merry few have been found wrong. But by your weaseling and dilly-dallying, you have cost us the life of another soldier! Now, I'm no Provost-General to be sure, and I hate condemning a man to his death, but, I'm inclined to vote. Vote: Private Perot! Now, who wants a custard tart? My sister sent them up from home - they're positively delicious! *Stelly munches happily on a tart, and grins like an idiot.*
Quarryman Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Not sure if Pvt. Entaine can be trusted or not, but I guess it's worth a try. Another day without a conviction is exactly what we don't need. So I guess it's time to start thinking outside the box here.. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs). If this is a mistake you can be sure we'll get Pvt, Reutal or Sgt. Hemphill tomorrow.
Dragonator Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 For me personally, there isn't much more to think about. The last two days, Pvt. Perot has been constantly turning you all against me despite my innocence. I know I'm loyal, so to me there is really only on course of action. At first I was willing to consider that Perot may be paranoid, but the amount of energy he has thrown into his accusations against me in particular makes me think that the more likely motive is that he is a scheming deserter, looking to use me as a distraction while the real killer is out murdering us in our sleep. Why else would I not have been convicted yet, or killed at night for that matter? Pvt. Perot, it is time we learnt the truth behind your deceptions, and convicted you of plotting desertion. The procrastination stops here, it is time to act people. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs) I am certain I am right in this vote; my life hangs in the balance as well, after all. It's time to put a stop to our false investigator once and for all.
Sandy Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I have to say that Mr. Shadon makes a whole lot of sense. For being totally untrustworthy, I vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs).
Rick Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 This morning has really got me thinking... We've been trying to convict Pvt. Reutal for two days in a row now, but were unsuccessful at that. Now Pvt. Entaine comes forward with information that Pvt. Reutal spent the entire night in his tent. And still, two honored soldiers ended up dead last night! One was too blame himself for getting drunk, but our honorable provost guard Ian Des was brutally murdered. These facts are only lifting suspicion from Pvt. Reutal, so it is getting less and less likely that we are going to be able to convict him today. However much some of us like it, I simply don't see it happening anymore. Pvt. Perot's stories have sounded very convincing initially. With hindsight, there are two things worrying me however. First, he didn't immediately come forward in public with his investigation results and accusations but contacted Pvt. Yellman privately. If we would have convicted based on his accusations, he wouldn't be the one taking the blame at that stage. Second, him finding two deserters on the first two nights and one of them being Pvt. Reutal, makes me at least question his sanity. Apparently, he's been doubting that himself as well, considering that he tried to investigate himself tonight But, worse, his persuasion in his accusations against Pvt. Reutal could mean his main intention is just to confuse the honored men in this regiment, which is exactly what happened. Confusion among the honored soldiers of course only helps the deserters in getting away with their cowardly acts. Again, I'm not sure whether he is confusing us intentionally or not, but considering the votes against him are quickly stacking up, it may be the only way to get some objective information today. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs)
RileyC Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Mr. Shadon you won me over! Vote: Pvt. Perot / TinyPiesRUs
MetroiD Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 The Regiment has spoken its mind, and all the points against Pvt. Perot mentioned above are very much valid. I was most confused by his revelation that he's gone ahead and tried to investigate himself last night, which to me confirms the fact that we cannot rely on him to tell us anything sane about his findings. What I was particularly looking for today was someone who was willing to start pointing fingers immediately, and Pvt. Perot has not even tried to furnish some additional proof to his allegations. Now that the situation is his word against Pvt. Entaine's words, I am not so sure about his findings anymore either, but the main reason behind me voting for him today was the fact that he seemed to be in such a huge rush to start voting against Pvt. Reutal once again. Pvt. Perot, I wish I could have investigated you last night so that I could confirm whether you are sane or not -- and, more importantly, whether you are loyal to this Regiment or not. Seeing as I could not do this, I will do as promised and not refrain from voting today - and based on your cowardly actions so far, my vote can only go against you. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot /TinyPiesRUs
Alice Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I am going to go ahead and place my vote as well. I hope we got a deserter this time. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot /TinyPiesRUs
WhiteFang Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 To get things going, I will bring my vote to another higher level, hopefully we have nailed the right one. Vote: Pvt. Tom Perot /TinyPiesRUs
Shadows Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Finally, men, you've done it! After 2 days of getting nothing done, you've made the General proud and brought honour back to this regiment by coming together to convict the scum! Who wants some sausage?
Quarryman Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Who wants some sausage? Yay! Sausage! I'd love to get some sausage. Do you have potatoes as well?
Shadows Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 Now we can wait to see his happy face at the news! A conviction! Hurrah! Do you have potatoes as well? We can hope that in his joy the potatoes shall be returned to us! I potatoes!
Alex the Great Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I unvote: Pvt. Reutal (Dragonator) for I see why we should vote Perot instead. He just put an accusation against someone else, and then hid behind it. With Pvt. Yellman saying that Reutal did nothing out of the ordinary, that does put two voices against one (though a lot of our camp is probably deserters at this point). We've tried to get Pvt. Reutal for 2 days now and it hasn't worked, so vote: Pvt. Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs). I'll take some of that sausage!
Scouty Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 "Private Tom Perot!" "You have been convicted on the terms of desertion! May God have mercy on you. Detail! Ready! Present!" "I'm sane, don't you see!? I don't want to dieeeee!" "Fire!" BANG! "Honoured, didn't you see? This man was honoured." Finally convicted, but without a good result, the men return to their tents. It seems the 53rd Guards have let up, but they're still in pretty big numbers around the camp. ************ Day 5 has concluded with Private Tom Perot, TinyPiesRUs, being convicted. Please send in any night actions that you have. Day 6 will begin soon. Private Tom Perot (TinyPiesRUs) - 11 votes - (Shadows, AwesomeStar, Quarryman, Dragonator, Sandy, Rick, Roncanator, MetroiD, Alice, WhiteFang, Alex the Great) All rules still stand.
