I realy liked Pokémon when there were 150 of them. I liked the cartoon, is was funny, even if I was already 18 years, it has some mature jokes in it which made the series good. But now it's gotten to big, so I stopped caring. ,I only played Pokémon red on my nephew's old gameboy in Black and White.

BTW, my favorite Pokémon is Jigglypuf, he's just to funny. Cubone is cool aswell.

Ah, yes, Pokemon.

I used to like Pokemon when it was just the original series and the original 150 (152 including Mew & Mew Two)

I still have all of my cards that I collected, I think I have at least 3000 cards or so.

I also played the Gameboy games also, Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow.

Yay! Finally I get to disclose my true identity as the 27.5 year old Pocket Monster aficionado that I am!

I remember seeing the first Illustrations of a game called "Pocket Monsters" (german: Taschenmonster! It was actually translated as that!) in a Nintendo-only games magazine (TOTAL! r.i.p.) about one and a half year prior to the game's original release in germany. What can I say? Those adorable creatures used "Tackle" on my heart, which was entirely in favour of monsters ever since primary school, and began nesting there. Needless to say me and my sister, who didn't ever got into the games, went and bought red and blue versions on day one. I'm hooked on the stuff since then!

I watched the cartoon all the way up until it became cheesy around the time they introduced "Orange Islands" and I ditched exposure to it entirely.

When the original gold and silver versions came out, I even "forced" a buddy from the local TCG league players to get me a US-gold-version, when he won an invitation to a NYC based TCG-tournament. I SO was the star around the turf owning a legit copy of the game (cheap Hongkong imitations were literally flooding germany at that point!). I even broke a friendship over a game... Well quite obviously a girl who claims to catch "legit" Celebi in her game without even proving it once (and having seriously f@cked up the game with random trainer-IDs on her oh so legit monsters), isn't the kind of social contact I want to have.

And apart from the very esoteric branches of the franchise and also the animated series and movies (from movie #3 up), I indulged in all the major games.

Currently I await my preordered HeartGold-version for DS, which is due in about 8 days (yet some people claimed Amazon in germany is a little "trigger-happy" and ships early!).

Oh the goodness travelling through Johto all over again!

Good times! :cry_happy:

Be good y'all!

I adore pokemon so much! Im eagerly awaiting the release of Heart Gold / Soul Silver in a couple of days time in Oceania. Its just a classic game and should be considered as one of the greats. When a new game comes out I get really addicted and get as many pokemon as I can. I usually get up there like in Pearl I had Just over 400 in 200 hours. I do have cards also which are safely stored in a card collectors folder. My favourite pokemon has to be Cindaquil cause he is just so cute and awesome!

Last Sunday the Simpson's made a joke about the cartoon about it being on the air so long and being fresh. (I kind of wondered if they where making fun of themselves more than Pokemon.)

The last version I played was the emerald version (and I am not going to mention the super mediocre XD version).

Aaaahh, Pokemon :classic: My first was Gold, which is my favorite, up to now. I like the first 250 or so due to nostalgia, but that doesn't mean I don't like the others. HeartGold is a great game, making so many "Hey, I remember that!" moments. I log so many hours of life in Pokemon, its worth it :classic: Typhlosion is my starter

I have some cards and Pokemon Silver for GB Color, but that's about it. I used to like the original show, then I stopped when Misty and Brock left

Huge Pokémon fan here.

I have been playing since the days of Gold/Silver (even though I started with Red and Blue). I have played every major game and many of the spin-offs. I am currently playing through HeartGold, which is quickly becoming my top favorite Pokémon game. In addition to the games, I also watch the anime and collect figures/plushies/other random items. I do have a small collection of cards, but I don't really play with them. In addition, I assist my friend (who is a bigger PokéNerd then I) with his website and forum. And obviously I get LEGO involved. My favorite Pokémon are Charizard, Floatzel, Arcanine, Lapras, Torterra, Raichu, and Feraligatr.

I am 20. And I still love Pokemons like many of my friends. Anime sucks- I only watch them for fights. But games for mr are the best jRPG!

Man you can make your party from almost 600 creatures!

Now I'm finnaly waiting to buy DS and Heart Gold. I started my Poke Journey from red, but Gold was awesome!

My favorite Pokemon are: Flygon, Charizard, Feraligator, Luxray, Miltank, Gengar, Garchomp...

My favorite legend is Ho-oh I think. But I hate legends in Pokemon overwall. I never catch them lol.

BTW this is slightly of topic. On my Pokemon diamond I have an error or something. There is an emty spot on my menue and I can not add anthing on to that space or remove it. Some times it is just a question mark, and when I try to play it a white box is there and can't do any thing. When the enemy attacks it says," Miss because there is nothing to hit! then u blackout and it's stlill there. If is is the only "pokemon" you have and you try to look at your menue the game freezes. Can any one help?

WoW. I had to quote this for truth because this is exactly my experience with Pokemon except I was 17.

My favorite was Parasect.

Anyway, this is a nice list.

Loved the first season of the show, then it got gay... Collected the little pvc toy figures and the cards, but I didn't have alot. And I still play the games now, but thats it.

Bought Heart Gold the other day and it is so incredible. Its so great reliving all the memories from Gold and the improved graphics make it a lot nicer to look at. Black and White sounds pretty cool even though the names are quite bland this time round. Cant wait to get more info!

I have a feeling they're going to change the names of the new games here in the States...

I've been a pokefan since the days of Gold/Silver as well (a bit of a late bloomer I guess). I watched the show and collected the cards when I was younger, but nowadays I just stick to the games. Currently playing through SoulSilver (have 12 badges!); if anyone wants to trade or battle I'm down, though I have to warn you I'm not very good.
