I just opened up a freshly bought 8961 and unfortunately, it came with a Sulfurix (Lime Green) Rock Monster instead of Glaciator (Blue) :sceptic:.

Has anyone else had this issue?

And is there any way I can call in to TLC to complain? It doesn't sound like much, but I was really looking forward to the blue rock monster! (I already have the Lime Green One from 8959).

Yes, just call and tell them what happened. They're pretty good with missing/wrong parts. And besides, it's just one rock monster-- it's not like you're calling and saying "Hi, I just bought 10 copies of Mon Calimari Cruiser and none of them contained Admiral Ackbar! Make it up to me!" So they'll definitely believe you, if you're worried about that.

You can order replacement parts if your set is missing a part or parts and just fill out an online form. I have always had good experiences with LEGO Customer Service. This is the website: http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/replaceme...ts/default.aspx

semi-related, I bought the TIE defender from the lego Star Wars line and it was missing three bricks, with a large brick being extra. I filled out their form and they sent me the missing pieces within 2 weeks.

I bought the Titanium commmand rig and it came with two blue rock monster's so I gave one to my freind :classic:

Back on topic.

If I were you I'd contact LEGO costumer service :classic:

I think that's actually lucky! You can call LEGO for a replacement fig, but Glaciator is common to multiple sets, where IIRC, Sulfurix is currently only in 1 set?

Thanks for the responses guys! I found the Missing Parts link and was surprised at how easy it was to order a new Glaciator!

I guess now the extra minifig doesn't seem too shabby.

...Especially since Sulfurix only comes in one other set. Perhaps your find was actually lucky, although it wouldn't have been nearly so fortunate if not for LEGO's incredibly convenient replacement parts service.
