Posted March 22, 201014 yr This forum is a great source for pirate builders so I thought I'd add my recently completed British Frigate to the fleet- I know I referred to the moc data-base quite a bit as I was working on it. link to bs folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=425319 Its meant to be a British frigate from the Napoleonic era, though I suppose its a bit under armed for a frigate (18 guns) -also I thought I'd point out that I'm member 10,000, do I win a prize? March 22, 201014 yr Stunning, kv_d! I think you pulled this one off really well, especially the bow! Can't wait to see more from you!
March 22, 201014 yr -also I thought I'd point out that I'm member 10,000, do I win a prize? Yes! you get a comment from me! Great ship! I esspecially like all the wierd elements you put into the bow Is it just me, or does that deck look as though its made of wood? Glad to see another great moc, and another great member P.S. I'm 6530!!! Burn!!! Edited March 22, 201014 yr by the_green_avenger
March 22, 201014 yr What a lovely sloop you have. I am particularly fond of the stern gallery, and what an elegant solution with the brick built, furled sails. Over all a great look, and a great job!
March 22, 201014 yr A Very nice job on this frigate, I love all the detail you put into it. The bow is excellent, and the rigging is very good as well. Nicely done, and keep bricking Edited March 22, 201014 yr by Fires-storm
March 22, 201014 yr What a refreshing ship! I love your building style and the overall lines of the ship. Very unique and very enjoyable! A++ -martinsuper

March 22, 201014 yr That is a real nice frigate you've got there. It's new style is really appealing to me. The rigging has been done very well. The shapes look good too. Great job on it mate! Soon!
March 22, 201014 yr I love it! really nice frigate, the addition of the sea around it is just very very cool , great job!
March 22, 201014 yr The ship looks great! And it is also quite unique because you made the sails from LEGOs! I just love it!
March 22, 201014 yr Author Thanks for all the compliments as well as a spot on the front page Is it just me, or does that deck look as though its made of wood? The deck is just snotted white bricks- the only non-lego element here is the string. Edited March 22, 201014 yr by kv_d
March 22, 201014 yr Well it looks like a very good frigate another piece of competition for bluecoats(oh boy another one?).It's not the toughest lobsterback boat, then again not the weakest. anyway good MOC
March 23, 201014 yr The deck is just snotted white bricks- the only non-lego element here is the string. WOW! Great job! Edited March 23, 201014 yr by the_green_avenger
March 24, 201014 yr That's awesome man! I love how this was built using almost nothing but normal bricks!
April 2, 201014 yr She is beautiful and very original especially the stern. I hope you make a few more ships based on the same style.
