Another 24x24 castle MOC. In this one three knights take a stop at a small pond in a forest, and they discover a dark cave. So here it is!

Intriguing! What's (going to be) in the cave?

Nice use of slopes and cheeses on the cave, though the cave top looks a little precarious. The overall impression is great!

Good work all over, I especially like the mushroom.

The top of the tree looks a little flat, though, and the vegetation screen is a bit uniform.

I think it'd be better if you put a little more depth to the cave. Maybe stick a dragon or some other monster in there, just out the soldier's view.

I love this simple scene you've created, 501st Commando. The water is nice and sleek and the cave is sufficiently rocky. The tree and plants near the pond edge are magnificent.

I think it'd be better if you put a little more depth to the cave.

I agree with this advice. Giving the cave more depth might make it seem more mysterious and ominous. Heck, you could stick a pair of red eyes into it and let the viewer use their imagination as to what it is.

Overall, a superbly clean MOC, that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks for sharing! :classic:

Great MOC, I love the way you did the cave coverings, it really looks like it's been growing there for a while. I assume it's connected via a few studs, great job.

I really like this a lot; I wish I was better at rocky walls and trees.

Interesting use of SNOT, but in the close-ups you can see the gaps between the water's edge and the shore... was there no way for the "shore" to overhang the water so the gaps wouldn't be visible?

This is one of those vignettes that really inspires me, thanks for sharing.

This is really good! I love the tree and how you made the pool of water. :sweet:

Everything blends in a realistic way, so well done!
