Interesting, somebody has canned a printed tile!

Who can have done that?

Yes, you guessed it, it´s of course one more minifig:

Setnumber: 8683

Minifig number&name: #8 The Crash Test Dummy

Numbers of different minifigs in series 1: 16

Parts in this bag: 6

Price: probably around US $1.99 per bag

Release: June 2010

All the parts. Nice printing with the test dummy rounded square !

No printing on the back.

Parts put together - ready for mayhem !

But what´s up with the wrench, is he going to mend himself after a frontal?

Now I´ll take this car for a spin, boy am I gonna put the peddle to the meddle

Do you hear the engine roar?!

Stop in the name of the law!! You´re not going one inch futher in that tin can!

That trip ended in a bang :cry_sad:! But I´m in one piece - I must be made of TLG standard ABS !

I like this minifig, it opens up a lot of options for dorky Moc´s !!

Very entertaining story CopMike. I'm sure this fig will cause quite a bit of havoc in many town displays.

Not too much to comment on, besides the nice printing...

Oh, you again!

Nice pictures of the CTD.

The only bad thing is the oh so common wheel wrench. Here something new would definitely have been better.

And some side printings would have been nice. :sceptic:

But all in all another "must have" on my list.

How do you keep getting these minifigs, is there a store that sells them near you?

I think the answer to that question can be found by finding the similarity between CopMike and ZeeK...

A nice figure, but not as specials as the others, although I like the printing.

The wrench i have to agree is a pretty lame choice for an accessory but what could they have used instead?

Well a steering wheel.

I gotta say, of all the figs in Wave 1, this is the one I am least interested in. Of course, that probably means I'll end up getting about 7 in my quest for the ones I really covet!

CopMike-- you certainly revealed early on that you wanted a cheerleader. Any of the others really stand out as a favorite to you??

Great review!

Adding more action with the 3177 set is brilliant!!!

I wish I had the opportunity to build the minifig-scaled version of the EURONCAP test facility... However, we'd need the short-leg version of the dummy too...

Many thanks, CopMike!

P.S. Does ANYONE know what is the plate printing "PA7 70" means?

Then how come I haven't got any?:tongue:

Thanks for the fun review! How stupid of the crash dummy to go on the roads when CopMike was on patrol, that can only end bad

LOL I love it, boy I can't wait to get my hands on all of these.

It seems there will be none left to review with the ambassadors having all the fun.

 Great story, CopMike!

I like this figure - very original, and shows a bit of lateral thinking on TLG's part. Though I agree with The Inventor - a steering wheel would have been better than the wrench!

What an awesome figure! I'll be getting this one for sure when it comes out. I love your previews CopMike. The funny comic strip way of showing them is really fun

Well, this minifig I won't be too disappointed at the lack of back printing. Fine to me.

This will prove to be a useful minifigure to use as a test subject. I now need to build a giant machine...

Thanks again to you 'CopMike' for another minifig review.

He's not that bad, perfect for anyone who collects racers gear eh ?

Perfect to test crash your Lego vehicles - are very own 'Buster' (Mythbusters) !

A spare spanner/screwdriver is always handy to have around I guess ?

I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

P.S. Which one's next eh ?

He comes with a giant wrench? Ahahaha, that's absolutely perfect. Somebody at TLG is a fan of terrible survival horror games.

edit to explain: There's a really, really bad survival horror game called Illbleed for the Sega Dreamcast. Its 'mascot' is a crash test dummy wielding an oversized wrench.
