MdrnMrvls Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 This was built for a small pole barn I'm working on. I'm also in the process of finishing up another tractor, so keep an eye out for that too. I've been quite busy lately and would explain why I haven't posted anything in awhile. Hope you like this. For more pictures, please visit Flickr. Enjoy! Quote
Zorbas Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Very nice work MdrnMrvls. The shape of the tractor looks very interesting and the size is good for smaller agricultural activities. The colours you've used are great and the trailer looks pretty functionable. One more good thing. Backwards compatibility. (a.k.a classic town compatible) Waiting for the barn! Quote

I like this 80s style and green with yellow color. Quote

This is a nice little tractor/mower. This would be a 'big farm tractor' in the 1980s. I'll certainly look out for the bigger MOC that this will be part of. Quote
Ricecracker Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I saw this on flickr this morning and it was instantly recognizable. It looks great! I especially love the fact that the trailer dumps, and the fig the compliments it is spot-on. I can't wait to the the other tractor and the rest of the barn. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Excellent 'MdrnMrvls' - I really like the little trailier - COOL ! Small tractor is very nice too, yep you can tell it's a John Deere ! Great design job and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
dr_spock Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Excellent job. Like a tiny version of the Technic 8063. I like the fact that the trailer has a tipping function. Quote
marvinblue Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 I like this little ride-on. It would look good in my City Council vehicle fleet! I like the tipping trailer as well. Great job! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Blogged! (how do I put that nice little tag in?) I love this MOC, its so cute! Quote
MdrnMrvls Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Thanks a lot for the kind comments everyone, it feels good to get building again. Work has a strange way in offering inspiration! @Peppermint_M Thank you very much! Classic Town is a great blog, keep it up. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Clean simple design that looks pleasant. I like the green and yellow used in John Deere tractors, and the colors look good in LEGO. This would make a nice little Farm set. Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 This is a nice design and I like how you made use of the 4899 Tractor parts. Blogged! (how do I put that nice little tag in?) Quote
MdrnMrvls Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 WOW Great work! Thanks. Clean simple design that looks pleasant. I like the green and yellow used in John Deere tractors, and the colors look good in LEGO. This would make a nice little Farm set. Thank you! I didn't want to get too extravagant with the design, so this is nice to hear. This is a nice design and I like how you made use of the 4899 Tractor parts. You know, I totally forgot about that little set. My version was actually a revamped one that I made a couple years ago. I'm glad you all like it! Quote
Big Cam Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I love it, so simple, but it looks like a real john deer lawnmower. My sister in law would love this, she works for john deer. Quote
