March 29, 201014 yr Very good MOC, full of great little details! I like how you have thought out all the supporting facilities of a fun park: medical, mechanical support, etc. And I also like the use of the old pigtail wig on some of the minifigs, it's a nice classical touch
March 29, 201014 yr I've seen it for real (sylann is my neighbourg) and I can confirm that this Moc is Awesome ! We've looked for motorized the boat but we didn't find any good solution. If someone have a really good idea to find how to move the boat as in real do not hesitate to post it !
March 29, 201014 yr AWESOME a pirate theme park MOC - now that's different ! I really like the action with all the details, from the food sellers, control room, maintance and first aid areas - so COOL ! Sylann - you have designed and build a fantastic MOC.......I'm a conformist! !
March 29, 201014 yr That is a totally awesome City MOC, Sylann! I really it! The stalls look beautiful and very realistic and the the landscape and the details are stunning, too! The most I like the small food stalls. A fun park is something TLG hasn't been releasing til now - but which is really needed for a big, decent and complete LEgo City and which would be absolutely amazing! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

March 30, 201014 yr Author Hi All Thanks a lot for the comments :) Happy to see that you enjoy this MOC
March 30, 201014 yr Try a cylinder (sortof) motion: If you connect a lego motor to a gear wheel with holes (such as 3648) you can connect a link arm that is connected to the pirate ship support frame, thus inducing the 'rocking' motion. Edited March 30, 201014 yr by Matt Dawson
March 30, 201014 yr Try a cylinder (sortof) motion:If you connect a lego motor to a gear wheel with holes (such as 3648) you can connect a link arm that is connected to the pirate ship support frame, thus inducing the 'rocking' motion. I'm not sure to understand ! :) The aim is to launch the boat in one way and after in the over way And moreover, you have to launch it higher each time ! (I'm not sure to be clear ! ) like on this video
March 30, 201014 yr Very nice. I like all the seperate action that is taking place. I think the cylinder suggestions was ust that, a suggestion. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a LEGO mechanism that allows progressive height increases. Good luck though.
March 30, 201014 yr Great work Sylann! There are some lovely details in your MOC and they belnd together in a very beautiful way. What I really like is that you've placed a great number of minifigs in the park! It makes it look full of life and action. Thanks for sharing!
April 2, 201014 yr Lego does do something that could be used for progressive swinging. You'd just need to program the entire run into the control centre which could then be repeated at the push of a button.
April 2, 201014 yr Great MOC! You captured the atmosphere of an amusement park perfectly. Although I have to say, those swinging boat rides are the bane of my existance- I just get motion sickness so easily!
