Vader Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 Well after buying legos jabbas palace and being very disapointed with it i decided to build my own, ive seen lots of differant palaces made but none with a rancor pit so i thought i would have a go at including one. I tried to follow the floor plans but i know that theres room for improvement. It looks very well done and I like all the arches and passages around the main throne room. The floor panels used for above the rancor pit look great, it all seems very close to the movie. Have you built a rancor yet? or are you planning to. I have always had an idea in my head to buy multiple jabba sets and make a bigger palace but I can never find them cheap. You seem to have done a great job and I can't wait to see what you do with it next. Jon. Quote

Im thinking of adding a swinging wall with a door in onto the front of the cave as well as some stairs that lead to the wall/door and then i might build up the walls around the pit, only one think stops me from doing this at the moment...a lack of bricks :( Quote

Vader Posted November 5, 2004 Author Posted November 5, 2004 Ok well ive now uploaded some more pics that include a rancor, now first off i have to say that the rancor is not of my design its a copy of one that i saw on brickshelf done by Baronsat, ive changed it abit as i didnt like some parts of his.
