Quitting Lego

Hello, Eurobricks Community. I have some sad news.

With funds running low, I've been having trouble collecting Lego lately. Not that I want to anymore. You see, TLG has produced nothing but boring sets the past few years, and I'm sick of it. Lack of innovation, invention, and creativity with so many licensed themes really tick me off, but it's the shortage in themes like Belville and Bob the Builder that really bring me down.

So, I've decided an easy compromise between giving up my ex-favorite hobby and not having one altogether, I'm going to start collecting Megablox. The higher quality bricks, the low prices, and cool themes like Halo and Animals really appeal to me, and I will be switching over.

Thank you for your time, and thank you Eurobricks for giving me such a great time here.

If you really want them. It's super-efficient since we're in neighboring states, and it would be a waste of oil and gasoline if I just threw out all of that plastic. At least Megablox has the decency of using eco-friendly cow manure instead of gas.

I have a 2x4 Mega Bloks plate on my desk that I can donate to your cause. My son found it in his Lego collection and quickly ejected it.

Concidering the date, I can only hope your just having some fun at some memebers expense. Cause one can only be joking when one says MegaBlocks has better quality than lego. Having assembled a few of the halo sets for my Boss's son, the only way to keep them fully assembled was to glue them toeghter. So ya, nice try buddy!

Euroblox hmm... Finally THE place I can go. I will donate some of my superior quality megabloks if it helps at all. I mean look at lego it's so cheap and brittle.

When does the site open? Can I mod the site, banning any lego lovers? Will there be Megabloks mafia games?

If this isn't an April Fools joke, I know where you're coming from. Once LEGO Starwars and Indiana Jones both oficially finish, I don't think I'll see any LEGO of value anymore. But I will not downgrade my tastes to MegoBlox. I will buy what I like of LEGO- though at a less often rate. That's final.

Wow not only have you switched sides but now you're anti lego? This is getting pretty sad. I mean megabloks mafia games? Megabloks barely has a tenth of the lego minifig selection. Not to mention the fact that 50% of Megabloks are just one use pieces that don't fit together properly. Sorry if you take this offensive I just find this transition to be stupid. Especially since you just became a grand-duke of this website! I'd think you'd be more into the brick than ever before. I need an ice pack.

So yeah, it was an April Fool's joke, to anyone who was fooled. I didn't expect much to come out of this, but I did get a few laughs from those who thought I was serious. Thanks for the praising title, as well, Shadows.
