Legolas73 Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) Welcome in the most popular fast food. Edited April 7, 2010 by Legolas73 Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Great work, my friend-- the attention to detail is astounding, it's very hard to pin down what I like best. However, I will say that's the cleanest McDonald's bathroom I have ever seen. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 AWESOME just smegging AWESOME - I love every detail of this MOC. From the restrooms to the counters with registers and drinks machines to the dining areas - FANTASTIC ! Only one minus - no chefs work at Macca's - some teenage kids do but no chefs ! Anyway AWESOME work 'Legolas73' and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
jonwil Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Great MOC, really captures the look of McDonalds stores the world over (not that I have been inside one in years, I much prefer Burger King or as they call it in Australia Hungry Jacks). Got any more pictures of the thing with the fabuland fig heads on the top (the playground I assume)? I agree with LightningTiger, there shouldn't be any chefs in the store, just people wearing McDonalds uniforms. Quote
legofan Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Beautiful and simply astonishing MOC of the most popular fast food in the world! I've really loving the menu sticker you have there, right where it should be! Really nice! Makes me hungry, by the way... Just a little comment, the 'rescue' minifigs as the Mac employess are rather ... Maybe you can try using the 'Ferrari' guys as they are dressed in red? Thanks for sharing! A truely amazing MOC! Quote
RoryoCox Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Extremely great work. The outside and inside are very well built and look great with all the right features. I hope to see some more brilliant buildings like this soon. Quote
dr_spock Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Excellent MOC. You have lots of nice details. Is that a bidet or a urinal in the bathroom with the girl? Quote
sok117 Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Wow, awesome moc, thats some real nice attention to detail, I especially like the play place, classic. Quote
prateek Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Amazing! This is 100% just like my local McD's. I like the signs, and it's busy as usual Quote
Zorbas Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Wow! And what a great first post that is! First of all, welcome to Eurobricks Legolas73! Amazing creation you've built there! The shape is very close to a real life McDonalds and you've got the colours right on spot. The interior is absolutely beautiful! The counter section is one of the best I've seen, with lots of colours and the stickers turned out great! Seeing the minifigs' faces in the kitchen area made me realise that it's a tough work. Great MOC and welcome for once more! Quote
Zorro Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Welcome to Eurobricks, Legolas73, I hope you will enjoy yourself on these boards! Your Mac Donald's restaurant MOC looks very nice and realistic, up to the ballbath in its garden . Quote
Milan Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Welcome, Legolas73! I really like your creation. It looks very nice, both inside and outside. I especially like the section where you receive your meals...very detailed! Quote
samurai-turtle Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Do you want fries with that? The second drive-thru window or the one where you pay is usually in the corner your looks like it set to far back. Other than that it looks like you got the details pretty much down. And for the record I rarely go to McD's it's usually some ones else idea, I prefer Burger King more. Quote

Any chance of getting an overarching view of the internals? It looks huge from outside, but you've zoomed in for your internal pics so it would be cool to get an overall sense of your internal layout. Nonetheless, great job! Quote
Willdog Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Very cool. Love the detail in the bath room. Is it weird that the toilet is my favourite part? Quote
gunm Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Wow, that's amazing! The water closet has a "TP" roll! Quote
Ralph_S Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 What stands out about this MOC is the awesome interior detail, especially the part where you order your food. You've captured the look and feel of the place really well. Cheers, Ralph Quote
Rick Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Welcome to Eurobricks! The interior detailing is great indeed. Like Ralph and others have said you've perfectly captured the counters in LEGO. And that's a nice simple idea for a toilet paper holder. Poor decapitated Fabuland animals outside... Quote
BlueBard Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Wonderful job, really! Love all the clever details inside, and especially how you've done the toilets and how you've used those "decals". BRAVO! Quote
def Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 The stubble on the chefs made me laugh. They must be overworked. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Can you get some pics of the play area? There's alot of detail in this! Quote
Danpb Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Great detail! Awesome work :D. I bet this McD MOC is healthier for you than the real thing :P Quote
General Armendariz Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I love the detail and all just in one classic building! This would of fit perfect with the 80's town line! Great job. Quote
