Howdy! I've been wandering the community for a couple of months, trying to find resources for my little projects. The pic's you will see here today have been in the works for a couple of months. Please excuse the crudity and unresemblence to the ride, it's the best I could do with LDD. Well, without further ado, may I present:

The Auction Scene

The Dunking Scene

I seek ways to improve these designs, in the hopes that one day they will be the masterpiece I dream them to be. Therefore, all comments are welcome!

:jollyroger: Thanks! :jollyroger:

Hi, and welcome to the forums! I hope you will enjoy your time here.

Sadly enough I currently cannot comment on your pictures since I cannot open or see them. Does anyone else have that same problem?

I'll edit my text later when I can see them.

I was afraid of that. I'm not pro at putting pictures in (I also just added them to the LDD Gallery). However, I do see them, and the links also work fine for me. Sorry for the inconvience!

EDIT: Alright, hopefully they work now!

You've formatted the code correctly, but the pictures aren't showing up. The URL of the pics takes me to a page on the Lego site, saying that The page you are looking for cannot be displayed etc. I think you've got them stored on your browser as cookies or some such thing...

I'd recommend using www.brickshelf.com to store your photos - there are tutorials here if you need them.

Looking forward to seeing them, always good to see another POTC MOC!

Edit: I see you've put them up as forum uploads; there's only a limited amount you can upload per month on EB - so putting them on Brickshelf would be better.

The auction scene is great, the poles in the water are very iconic (at least to me!). I love the well and brick-built dog too.

Any plans to make these in real life?

I'll move this to Pirate MOCs, as that's where it belongs

I can see the pictures just fine! You've done a good job, considering the extremely limiting nature of LDD. I'm sure these would look tons better if you were able to build in real life, using all of the bricks and techniques that LDD doesn't allow for. Even so, I'm very familiar with the ride and that auction scene setup remains spot-on to the real thing.

I look forward to seeing what else you might do with this project, and welcome to Eurobricks!

Ha, thanks for moving it to the correct section, still getting the ropes of the site :pir-blush:. My plan is to indeed make these in real life, still working out the kinks and such. But before I do, I'm trying to get ahold of what really makes the scenes: Minifigs! But since I'm near completion [Decals(most of them), Parts, Etc.], expect these to be built soon!

Oh, and thanks for the welcoming! :pir_laugh2:

Welcome to Eurobricks mate! :pir-classic: Thats look pretty good at me, The jail scene is absolutly lovely because of that dog you made. Anyway Great job mate, keep it up

Completely forgot to add one of my personal favorites, The Singing Minstrels!

Now do keep in mind, these are incomplete (they're missing the minifigs of course!), but once these arrival in the mail, I will indeed post the real thing.
