Posted April 4, 201014 yr Good Evening Everyone I have a been planning over the last few weeks a Lego Technics RC Car using the Power Functions and maybe a few custom parts. I will be starting from scratch so need to get a shopping list together and get on Brick Link. I have never been a serious builder and have not used Lego for about 12 years, I am now 28 so everything will need to be bought. ?The Lego Discovery Centre Manchester has just opened 10 miles from me and once the ridiculous queues of the school holidays have gone I may take a trip. Does the shop have a Pick a Brick? and if so do they do Technic parts? Thanks all
April 4, 201014 yr Welcome! I would suggest you to use Bricklink for specific parts you need or eBay for parts or bulk orders of various parts, they can be very cheap. I use Bricklink all the time. I think it is the best. Have fun!
April 4, 201014 yr Does the shop have a Pick a Brick? and if so do they do Technic parts? Thanks all Welcome to Eurobricks. I am sure it will be worth the trip to find out if they do (i'm hoping they do), and to see what kind of selection the shop has. Realisticly if you are building a Technic project the PAB wall will not supply much usefull for you, as Milan says. But any information about what they are selling there will be welcomed by the Lego Retail Deprived of the North West! Im in north wales so is very feasable for me to get there. Anyway good luck with your project. Edited April 4, 201014 yr by mikey

April 4, 201014 yr Nice to see another UK citizen join Eurobricks! We need to stick together you know! Enjoy your time here, and hope all goes well at that good sounding LEGO Centre! Sorry, I have no idea about what they sell. Dang, I never even knew it was there!
April 6, 201014 yr Author Just had confirmation from another forum that there is Pick a Brick based on weight @ £5 100g but choice was limited but bit is school holidays. Also they have build a minifig @ £1.50.
