I don't think the webuyanycar ads play on Irish t.v. (do they? I watch hardly any t.v.) and I realise they're annoying, but I do have a certain respect for how professionally annoying they are. They're like the exact opposite of Cillet Bang ads, which are just amateurishly annoying by comparision.

AN EXAMPLE OF A CILLET BANG AD. YES, I KNOW I'M SHOUTING. I CAN'T HELP IT RIGHT NOW. I'VE JUST WATCHED SEVERAL CILLET BANG ADS TO GET TO THE RIGHT ONE.

WHY THE HELL DID SHE LET HER SINK GET SO DIRTY. FILTHY WOMAN!

We have those same "CILLET BANG" ads here in Australia (although the product is called something different I think) and yes they are annoying.

Most ads for insurance in all its forms annoy the hell out of me (especially funeral insurance, life insurance and income protection insurance)

One of my favourite ads of all time is the ad for barclay card, the one where the guy rides through New York on the rollercoaster oh and the other one with the guy in the waterslide. I mostly like them because i really want to do both them things (rollercoaster and giant waterslide not a commercial)

The worst add has to be the poorly dubbed ad for crunchy nut with th DJ.....

Woeful add

I love GameStop ads, especially the ones with that cute potty-mouthed platformer bunny, but the ones where shooting game characters are having a funny conversation are good too.

As for worst, I can't stand any radio commercials. Somehow it's always way too obvious that they want to sell you stuff, not to mention that a lot of them are really annoying.

All the ads in Japan are terrible and usually nonsensical. Some are interesting because of the talent they get... I can remember Tommy Lee Jones, Kiefer Sutherland, Natalie Portman, Quentin Tarentino, Brad Pitt.... all the big stars come here to shill. But the commercials are still inane. Do you like this ad?

W. T. F. That is quite possibly the wierdest commercial I've ever seen!

LOL! That reminds me of a parody on Robot Chicken where Sarah Michelle Gellar fights a monster Kill-Bill-style in the effort to advertise some sort of vagina pain relief solution.

Well then folks, try this on for size:

Softbank, a phone company here, has a general campaign made up of a family that's a cute 20-something lady, a white dog, and a large black man. Here, Quentin Tarantino visits, and is called Taro-chan, chan being the suffix you use with children and cute girls. Yup, everyday, crazy.

The blond says "hayaku kaite koi", which is roughly "Get your ass back here now!"
