Posted April 7, 201014 yr Because I know you eurobrickers love your lotr... Who doesn't really? flickr Movie accurate-ish interpretation, I suppose
April 7, 201014 yr Very nice scene. The monster is built well but as said the hands looks unfinished. If you fix those it would be perfect.
April 7, 201014 yr Great background, good solution on the splintered door. On the troll: I think the head could be a little bigger; and the torso more hunched. But that's just how I think of a cave troll, more bestial, if you know what I mean. I like the leg solution a lot, and the club is good too.
April 7, 201014 yr I do love my LotR, this is a very neat scene Karrde. I think you've heard that the hands are a bit small, other than that I love it!
April 7, 201014 yr Good timing. I saw the Fellowship of the Ring 3 days ago, and this scene really stands out. Awesome troll.
April 7, 201014 yr Yep, fix those hands and you'll have an AWESOME troll MOC ! Anyway so far - fantastic design - he does look just a little mean eh ? I'm a conformist! 'Talon Karrde' I'm a conformist! !
April 8, 201014 yr Amazing. Great troll. As stated above the hands are a little off. Other than that though Good Job!
April 8, 201014 yr Having just finished watching not only the Extended Editions of all 3 films but all 6 disks worth of Appendices/extra content, I can say that (with the exception of the hands) it looks GREAT.
April 8, 201014 yr Author I just wanted the hands to grip stuff, and basically just copied what miniland builders use on their figs - as it's basically the same scale so maybe I copped out on that a little... The most annoying thing to attach was the head (believe it or not) and I made it so small because cave trolls have *no* brains Anyway, thanks y'all!
