my take on blacktron 3. Like most everyone I loved the revamped blacktron 1 torso the minute i saw it... and my mind began racing with ideas for a new blacktron 3.

I painted the SP3 helmet black on the figure on the left to get the right blacktron feel.

I have some old school Blacktron sets and I like your take. The bodies kind of remind me of the robot bodies, but still different. I think you did a great job!

These are great, I lov that new torso and it lends itself so well to this. I think the only change I'd make is to retain black visors - I loved them on the Blacktron I minifgs.

Can you try these with blank black legs? The grey-ish belt and armor are a little distracting to me. Other than that, great figs. (what's up with the middle fig's face? )(I miss trans. Yellow :cry sad:)

So simple but so fantastic slacker int, especially with the black visors. A nice update while staying true to the roots!

Nice figs, where are the legs you used for the first set from though I can't work it out. These do make me hope that we'll see the new blacktron torso end up in the build a mini-fig bins soon at Lego store so I don't have to pay to much for each one.

Nice figs, where are the legs you used for the first set from though I can't work it out.

The legs are actaully the ones that come with the torso in the sp3 set. (as seen in mania's pic above). I just took a slight bit of nail-polish remove to the chain and skull details and carefully removed them.
