Aredhel Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hey all, I wanted to show you my newest creation. It is made mostly out of the parts from the new X-Wing set (4502). In this creation I tried to use ALL parts of the set. Not only the ones which were used for the X-Wing, but also the parts from Yodas hut! Sometimes it was very difficult to combine all those colours to a considerable result. This was my first MOC where I tried to make a cockpit. I intended to create a cockpit which had enough space for the two minifigs of the set (Yoda and Luke). For other pics (e.g.the cockpit, etc.) watch my gallery. I apologize such colourful creation as a space MOC, but I hope it's not too bad Aredhel Quote
Sir Dillon Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I like the overall shape of the ship, looks very swooshible As for the colours, I don't really like them, but I don't think they look bad. Also, good job on using all the pieces from the set, I've tried it before, and it's pretty hard fitting all the pieces in one creation. Quote
john cleese Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 well the color kind of makes for color clashes, which was also a problem with my pirate ship moc. But i have to agree its a very nice overall design. Quote
SuvieD Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 This is looking really good and you managed to fit both figure in which is even better. I always have trouble with that. I looked through the gallery and I thought you had two different ships in there at first. Then I realized it is just upside down in the pictures. The colors when it is upside down looked really nice. So, if you rebuild it you should try to get all of the same colors on top like you did on the bottom. Instead of using every piece in the ship try using some of the non fitting colors as a radar station or inside the cockpit if you wanted them in the ship. It may work better that way. Four thrusters and six guns is impressive though and the wing shape is great. I may borrow some of your ideas for a fighter I have in mind. Quote
