Brilliant, Brilliant MOC.

The colours and gardens are fantastic and the roof/buildings are so realistic.

I can't praise this MOC enough it is just absolutely super.

Well Done

This is so going to be frontpaged!

What an excellent MOC! Your use of the gold knight thigh-guards is brilliant! The gate and roof are absolutely my favorite parts! The Adventurer beasts work perfectly in their place, but the building directly above the gate is so cool! The pond is very neat, and the building is extraordinarily innovative! The ground is also very natural-looking.

Nice work putting the festival's logo into the MOC itself!

Great work!

Great MOC. I love the roof technique. I've been thinking of ways to do roof tiles, but your way is by far the best I've seen.

The overall structure looks quite Japanese. My only criticism is that the minifigures somehow don't look very japanese. The oriental expedition torso is a bit overused.

Wow, a beauty of a moc, Japan being on of my favorite countries  I love all the detail in this, from the river to the training grounds, the gate is a beaut as well. Perfectly done mate, just perfect

Just lovely! The use of the yellow roofing is spectacular and the whole design of the fort is fantastic. I love how you have incorporated nice little features like the stream coming out of the fortress, the interior of the dojo, the training arena, all great. There really isn't much more to add to this masterpiece.

Great stuff.

I saw this earlier on Brickshelf, this is a fantastic MOC! The architecture is intricate, many of the trees and plants are like I never seen before, and it's chock-full of details.

The only thing that bothers me a little is that the MOC looks more Chinese to me than Japanese. But that's definitely a minor issue.

Superb MOC. The colours are so vibrant and they really stand out. The buildings are really nice and I love the fact that you created them with ways to see inside. Well done.

:cry_happy: Amazing! I'm jealous of how many 2x3 with bent ends you have, especially in gold. Looks authentic.:thumbup::thumbup:

And here I was generally considering that to be a pretty useless piece.

I love being proven wrong... one of the most beautiful things in LEGO is seeing creative uses for pieces that were designed for something else.

This is a beautiful MOC, I love it.

Awesome MOC. It's full of detail and has the right colours.

I like your roof tiles a lot and the last picture is also nice.

Great job, I don't know a lot about Japanese architecture, but to me this is really a brilliant creation

Excellent creation LakMause. The gold roofing is a definite highlight, but the whole building is full of great details.

I've removed some of your images in the first post, from 50 down to 28. Even though all your images are resized, 50 is still too many for a post such as this. In the future please try to keep it around 20 at the most.

Wow, I really like this! Great buidling and scenes and so very detailed too. Icing on the cake has got to be your solution for the roof tiles: sheer brilliance!

I love seeing MOCs of ancient Japan and you have done a wonderful job. I really like the roofs. Congrats on the Brothers-Brick blog!

Very nice build, a lot of atmosphere and the area around the little fortress is not flat, I love it. Good fotojob too !
