Captain Becker Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 5. Don't put max ages on sets just put 6+ not 6-12 [seriously, THIS has always bugged me! What if I still want to play with LEGO bricks?!] Im whit you Schooner, They should delete those max ages because they are kinda usless, many of us buy LEGO`s nd even manyer are adults. -obelix- Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Finished! Need more classic themes back. I agree completely. Done the survey! Quote
Napoleon Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Done! Here's what I put! 1 17th-19th century soldier set 2 Release more ships on the scale of or greater than the imperial flagship, ones that are realistic 3 More medieval and pirate town sets, such as a drydock or a large medieval farm 4 Commitment to High Standards of Quality. We do not want to see cheap plastic anymore. 5 Better quality parts and consistent colours Would be a dream come true if Lego used all my suggestions!!! :pir_laugh2: :pir_laugh2: Quote
Brickbeard Bart Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 (edited) Excellent, I frequently send Lego customer service emails about things that bother me, or things I wish I could see. I feel like they do listen. I begged them many times to bring back the blue Lego base-plates, and lo and behold, they did (could be a coincidence, but...) I also sent them many requests for an Imperial ship to fight the pirates starting back when the new Pirate line first hit the shelves...before I ever discovered this community. I also collect the Space Police line...and sent many requests for a Space Police HQ where the Police could store the holding cells....and look what's coming this year for the Space Police line! My top priority request in the survey was to continue the Pirate Theme after 2010. Next, was bring back classic sets...then NO MORE STICKERS!, the last two reflected the quality issue. I sure hope this survey makes a difference!! ~Bart Edited May 22, 2010 by Brickbeard Bart Quote
BrickPerfection Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Of course I've done this before, just forgot to post... I very much appreciate the work of the ambassadors and hope that the communication provided by surveys like this one will change the minds of TLC and bring back Pirates somewhere in the next 4-5 years. Or at least a comparable historic theme of that era involving ships! I also have to state though, that I much fear that all these efforts might not achieve what we all hope for since AFOLs won't make up more than 1-2% of Lego customers, so even if they spend more money on Lego, TLC as being profit-oriented will focus much rather on stuff for kids like the more and more childish sets and quality issues have shown us... Dan the Brickman Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I just did the survey. -keep the pirates -lower the prices -keep the quality those are the things I checked. Quote
Artifex Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 DONE! Keep the Pirates, lower the prices, get rid of China Quality and I was over the fence as to print/stickers. Quote
mobricki Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I filled out the survey adding that I would like a new pirate theme from the napoleonic era and said that I would nlike larger minifig scale sailing ships. Quote
