M'Kyuun Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 My heartfelt condolences to his family first, and then to those of us who could only look on with awe at what he was capable of doing with a little imagination and a few bricks. A huge loss to the community. RIP NNENN, you were a master of your craft. Quote
FilmGirl27 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 That's really sad news. My condolences to his family and friends. Quote
Optimus Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 A tragic loss... His stuff was truly special and really innovative. RIP. Quote
The Crazy One Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 My sincerest condolences to the family. Though I am not a personal friend, I have come across his truely great work. It's hard loosing a family member so suddenly, I know it is, especially in an everyday act like driving. I only hope his family are dealing well with it. Quote
snefroe Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 that is sad news indeed. my condolences to friends and family. a great loss to the space community as well. Nate's trademark was his creativity. He always tried to expand the Lego universe by trying new things, adding new parts, Lego or not... He was an inspiration to many of us. We'll miss him... Quote
Holodoc Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 The AFOL community loses a great builder, but who cares when there's a father, husband, and friend to be missed? I couldn't have said it better so I quote you again, Rick. May you rest in peace and may the family and your friends be able to cope with this tragic loss. I didn't knew nnenn at all, but I may have seen his incredible MOCs sometime without noticing it was him. For all those who want to take a look at his creations, be sure to click to TheBrothersBrick and check out "the best of nnenn"-feature, starting here. Absolutely incredible. Quote
squidman85 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I agree with Holodoc and Rick.Very sad news,though I very liked his sci-fi creations,like his starfighters. Quote
Siegfried Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 Could this topic be pinned btw? It seems unnecessary to me, to be honest I was unsure whether to post this in the first place. Besides, pinned topics tend to be ignored more often than not. Thus we use pinning when we want to make something easier to find rather than when we want to highlight something. Quote
