Posted April 18, 201014 yr Which parts would you like to see come back in future sets? For me, it is these three: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/2409 - Panel 10x10x12 corner (last seen in 1998) http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/2418b - Windscreen 6 x 6 Octagonal Canopy with Axlehole (last seen in 2003) http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/6061 - Brick 2 x 4 x 2 with Holes on Sides (last seen in 1999)
April 18, 201014 yr If anything it would be that large window, i love wide screens and that's my favorite one. As for other ones i may have to gat back to you on that there are so many...
April 18, 201014 yr The first piece that comes to mind (thanks to smokebelch's pictures, which are excellent as usual ) is the dewback. It looks so cool in LEGO form! I wasn't a fan of LEGO when 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina was released, so I haven't been able to get one. Hopefully it'll be reused in an affordable Tatooine set some time soon! I can't think of any other parts right now, but that's probably because I don't know about the vast assortment of discontinued parts out there. EDIT: Oh, I would love to see a return of the cypress tree! Edited April 18, 201014 yr by ILikePi
April 18, 201014 yr Grabby Claws of Doom, such as what you see at the back of this set: I miss the Grabby Claws of Doom.
April 18, 201014 yr Author Grabby Claws of Doom, such as what you see at the back of this set: I miss the Grabby Claws of Doom. From what I understand, unfortunately this part will not come back because the tolerances involved in making the teeth work together are so small that they end up rejecting too much of the production run. This is why we don't see these http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4276b hinges any more either. I *could* be wrong though, so if anyone else knows any more about this I'd like to hear it. Cypress trees and pitchforks. Everyone wants pitchforks and have been asking for them for years. I believe that it will only be a matter of time before a new pitchfork mold is created.
April 18, 201014 yr I'd also love to see the good, old cypress tree again! And the old hinges, though it's not likely they will ever be produced again due to the reason already mentioned in the precious post.

If we were to get new Panel 10x10x12 corner in Trans-yellow I would be jumping of happiness for a month. ;) The third one seems to have been around during my dark ages so I have no relation to it.
April 18, 201014 yr Thanks to bricklink (and some other connections I have), I tend to be able to get sufficient quantities of most old parts I might be interested in. However, some old parts never appeared on some useful colours and since they are no longer in production, there doesn't seem to be much chance of them ever appearing, in particular if they've been replaced by alternative parts. That obviously applies to old style finger hinges. As an aircraft builder, I'm very happy with the wide variety of wedge plates LEGO make nowadays, but I also miss some old-style wing plates. wing 4x8 left and it's mirrored counterpart. I could really do with some of those in tan, for instance. Similarly wing 4x4 left and it's counterpart. The newer replacement doesn't have a cut-out in the corner, which means it's no longer possible to combine multiple to a nice straight line at 45 degrees. I'd love to have some in reddish brown, tan, sand blue or light bley. Cheers, Ralph
April 18, 201014 yr I would like to see the buildable trees again and the old sails. edit- And pitchforks too. Edited April 18, 201014 yr by General Redwater
April 18, 201014 yr http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/2418b - Windscreen 6 x 6 Octagonal Canopy with Axlehole (last seen in 2003) Yes, please! And this marvellous hinge to go with it! Also, the classic city sunroof, adapted to the new clicky system, of course, as well as various Classic Space canopies. And this 90's space cockpit, while we're at it. Scorpion out! April 20, 201014 yr - Cypress Trees - Pitchfork Did not add Monorail track because we need NEW Monorail Track, old one is outdated (I actually own and dislike)
April 20, 201014 yr More Znap. especially the double-arches, the 9volt motor, and the extremely long flex axels. Incredbily useful in technic builds.
April 20, 201014 yr I was going to buy some cypress trees when they had them 5 for $5, but I was waiting until the fall, only 2-3 months later. Then the mold broke. I do love that big glass window, best huge piece ever.
April 20, 201014 yr Round Trees, Pine Trees, Pitchforks, Hooded headwear (see Wolfpack), Baby horses (wait, did they even exist or did I dream that?).
April 20, 201014 yr Hooded headwear (see Wolfpack) Didn't they already have those in some Castle sets, or are you talking about something else?
