wooootles Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Lots of people have put their own twist in the 7641 Pizza Restaurant, usually converted into a Cafe-Corner style/big modular style. Here is my own twist of 7641, enjoy. Yeah, they happen to serve some fried chicken too, Tried Shakey's Pizza? Interior shots of the 1st floor. Sink, 7641 oven, soda fountain, beer vault all built. Here are the interior shots of 2nd floor, nothing too fancy. Added some ceiling fans for great justice. And if you guys are curious, this is the evolution of design: Comments? Suggestions? prateek Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Awesome job! The small details like the arch over the door really make it fit in with other modular buildings Quote
LegoDad42 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Just FANTASTIC! I like the outside, front and back but the interior really sold me. Love the details of the oven, counter, fridge/food storage(?), etc....the seating looks great and I like the ceiling fan. Great stuff. Must've been loads of fun to design and build. Does the oven open? I see a technique pin/piece/lever to the right of it? Edited April 18, 2010 by LegoDad42 Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 TOTALLY AWESOME 'wooootles' - wait till 'BlueBard' sees this eh ? AWESOME right down or should I say up to the ceiling fan upstairs - best pizza bar design yet ! Totally I'm a conformist! 'wooootles' keepon bricking ! Quote
beans Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 This is really nice. I especially like the hardwood flooring with the tiles on the second floor and the cheese slopes for the soda dispenser! The look of it actually kind of reminds me of Potbelly, a sandwich chain in the US if you've been. Great job! Quote
Noworries Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Do you have some of the official modular buildings? I would really like to see it lined up with them! Quote
Rick Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Excellent design. I really like the detailed interior. Quote
Redcross Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 great work, I like the evolution of design. No self respecting lego town would be without a pizza place. Using the internal beam to mount the fans is a great idea, the pizza preparation area is spot on. Quote
vladoniki Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Wow, great! I like also the interior very much! Quote
greg3 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 That looks great!! I love the interior details especially on the ground floor. Excellent work!! Quote
benny Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Wah! Very nice in outlook! You make the special pizza shop.Oh! What is the function of the back door at the 1st floor? Quote
BlueBard Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Great job! Love houw you've MOCed without loosing the 7641 MOD feeling, and the interior is impressive, especially the SNOT floor Quote
Lord Arjay Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Great MOC. I love the fantastic interior. Well done! Quote
Toa_Of_Justice Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Nice work, wooootles! It reminds me very much of my neighborhood pizza places, with all the interior details, except none of the ones in my area have stairs leading up to a second floor, if I recall correctly. Wah! Very nice in outlook! You make the special pizza shop.Oh! What is the function of the back door at the 1st floor? From what I remember, a back door in any establishment is usually for deliveries, emergency exits, or an alternate entrance. -Toa Of Justice Quote
wooootles Posted April 18, 2010 Author Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Woo, lots of feedback! Thanks for the comments! Love the details of the oven, counter, fridge/food storage(?) .....Does the oven open? I see a technique pin/piece/lever to the right of it? It's a fridge, where all the beer is supposedly at. and the oven is taken straight from the 7641 set, no mods. Do you have some of the official modular buildings? I would really like to see it lined up with them! Yes! And here they are! It's a bit smaller than GG and CC, with only 2 floors and 24 studs wide, but here it is trying to fit in with the big boys. I also manage to plug in my sig fig's black Grand Tourer Excellent design. I really like the detailed interior. Yay blogged! It's an honor Wah! Very nice in outlook! You make the special pizza shop.Oh! What is the function of the back door at the 1st floor? Back service door, basically for the delivery guys to come in like the others said without going through the front door. --- Again guys thanks for all the comments! It was a joy to build. It took 6 months from LDD dreams to the real thing, but that's only because I was trying to restart a LEGO inventory, I didn't have much of anything in terms of pieces and now, plus I didn't Bricklink until the last few weeks or so. With a better job I can hopefully start to pump more MOCs of this caliber. Hopefully. Edited April 18, 2010 by wooootles Quote
IagoParrot Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 This is an amazing MOC! I really like the design of the floors, especially the floor of the second floor! Quote
Still Raindrop Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 This is indeed excellent! You've captured the feel of the original in modular style. Plus, that interior is wonderful--the ceiling fans really add to the overall feel. Quote
wooootles Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 Thanks for the comments! Good to see people still seeing what is my first big modular style MOC Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Oh my, what a lovely Pizza restaurant! Amazing job on this wooootles. (did I get the right number of Os in your name? ). What sold me into this MOC is the interior - the brown wooden finish inside, that ceiling fan, and the soda dispenser - I love 'em all. It really looks good side-by-side with the other modulars. Fires-storm Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Thats just insanely beautiful, the level of detail on the kitchen and beer cooler utter sold it for me! Well done mate, and definitely keep bricking Quote

The LDD builder Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Could you put; this minifig in it Quote
marvinblue Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 This is a fantastic project wooootles! I really love the ground floor. That kitchen just does it for me! Well Done!! Quote
-zenn Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Kewl. The colors really give out the pizza vibe. Although I think it needs a delivery scooter and a sign. Quote
Apollo Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I really love the look of the Pizza Place you captured here. Looks like one of those outer-city pizza places that not many know about, but still makes the best around. I cannot sum up what I like most about this. Everything is just beautiful, from the sun shade to the Italian-influenced architecture; from the ceiling fans to the wooden floorboards and interior. This is just perfect. Quote
