Posted April 20, 201014 yr Hi here is my latest MOC. Needed a gr-75 rebel transport ship for our echo base when we later this year will continue our build on the base. build the ship on a budget, mainly using parts we allready had, only a small bricklink order for tiles. have spent hours on the ship and have had problems making it strong enough. Have "rebuilded" several times. well here you go hope you like it.
April 20, 201014 yr Nice MOC, echobasehoth. I'm a conformist!! Edited April 20, 201014 yr by The Legonater
April 20, 201014 yr Wow this is nice! I'm dying for one of these. What is really strange is a few months ago I had a dream about a Lego set that looked pretty much exactly like this.
April 20, 201014 yr Very nice, echobasehoth. You've captured the shape very nicely. I love the engines, and the greebling under the engines is rather nice. Do you have any closer pics of that area? Do you know how many pieces you used? An estimation will work.
April 20, 201014 yr Very nice transport 'echobasehoth' ! I really like the engines, and is it minifig scale or mid-scale ? Anyway great work and I'm a conformist! !
April 20, 201014 yr That's not bad! I think the front should have more of a downward curve to it (from memory), but you can tell at an instant what it is - good work! It's a little scaled down though. Still, !
April 20, 201014 yr Very nice transport 'echobasehoth' !I really like the engines, and is it minifig scale or mid-scale ? I'm geussing it's midi-scale, have you ever tried putting a rebel army in something about the size of a large garbage truck? Neat MOC.
April 21, 201014 yr Author legogalactus: The ship is 86 studs long and 28 studs wide, apx. same size as the 6211 imperial star destroyer. and i would call it minifig scale Rook: no it doesnt have an interioer, but plenty of space left to make an interioer. Walter Kovacs: pic of the engine part and a estimated use of brick (less than 800+600 tiles in different sices and Rufus your right the front should be more curved, have tried several solution to make it curved, but it never worked out right so i ended up with no curves
April 22, 201014 yr It may have been done on a budget but it still looks really good on the outside. I love the under pic showing the multi-colored pieces needed for the underbelly. I think you did a really good job on the outside, it looks just like the movie version.
April 22, 201014 yr Maybe you could use the space inside to do something like the Tantive IV/the-big-red-TIV-like-ship?
May 5, 201014 yr I like your current interior. It fits the lore of the ship- a shell filled with shipping containers. If you want a more detailed interior, I'd continue doing shipping containers, just modify them to do different things. That's how the Rebels did it!
