lightningtiger Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Well here I go with a W.I.P. for Bayonets at Dawn. The name is perfect for this story as the British attacked the miners at the Eureka Stockade in the early hours of the morning in 3rd of December 1854. Before the Canadian and US members of the group could reach them the British soldiers attacked, it was over in ten minutes. Sadly the British were too strong and were better armed with the latest weapons than that the miners had, they were made up from all over Europe, the America's also Ireland and even China. Read this to understand more..........The Story Of The Eureka Stockade I know this is small at the moment, I have to do the flag and flag pole yet, plus I hope for some more Red Coats and of course miners. The British Red Coat is using an 1853 ball & cap revolver, while the poor miner has to use an old 18th century pistol. Please let me know what you think, comments are very welcome !
