Ratshot Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 (edited) Here are my Canadian Militia men, they will be making there first combat debut in my Bayonets At Dawn entry. I recently purchased 5 more torsos so I could have some more for the contest Update 1 as of May 4th 2010. Edited May 4, 2010 by Ratshot Quote

lightningtiger Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Excellent custom fig's 'Ratshot' - great torso's ......custom print are they ? The heads look custom too, yes ? Great work and I'm a conformist! 'Ratshot' I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Alex the Great Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Actually those torsos are from the old adventurer's sets. It looks good Ratshot, can't wait to see what your battle is. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Excellent! great to see some Canadian content. The torso, though, seems more appropriate for the Boer War than...1812. Still, though, it looks good. Which battle are you doing? One of the Niagara region ones? Quote
Nightshroud99 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) They look kind of strange with two holsters there, one on the chest and the other on the leg. And also the fact that they have two belts. Edited April 25, 2010 by Nightshroud99 Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Nice to see some Johnny Thunder parts used in a Napoleonic themed MOC. I look forward to seeing them in action! But resize your image! I'm on the slowest connection in the world at the moment and it took me over a minute to download that one image! Quote
lt.Gonville brickhead Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 They look cool They look kind of strange with two holsters there, one on the chest and the other on the leg. And also the fact that they have two belts. actualy theres three belts Quote

Ratshot Posted April 25, 2010 Author Posted April 25, 2010 Thanks for all the kind words guys What torso's are they? Barron Von Barron, Desert. are those torsos from the Adventures series? Yup. Excellent custom fig's 'Ratshot' - great torso's ......custom print are they ?The heads look custom too, yes ? Great work and I'm a conformist! 'Ratshot' I'm a conformist! ! No, there genuine Lego Parts, no customs. The torso, though, seems more appropriate for the Boer War than...1812. Still, though, it looks good. Which battle are you doing? One of the Niagara region ones? Agreed, they don't look very 1812ish but I love them just the same I'm not 100% sure on which battle I'm going to do but is going to be from the War of 1812. They look kind of strange with two holsters there, one on the chest and the other on the leg. And also the fact that they have two belts. I admit, the gun holster seems a bit awkward but its the shade of the legs and the fact that they have printing on them that keeps me from changing too something else. Nice to see some Johnny Thunder parts used in a Napoleonic themed MOC. I look forward to seeing them in action! But resize your image! I'm on the slowest connection in the world at the moment and it took me over a minute to download that one image! I can't believe I forgot to re-size it Quote
