Posted April 26, 201014 yr Ok I just got a informed that someone(s) have/has reported this site as unsafe and dangerous and could leak personal info, so who is the culprit? also this has been registered for BrickLink.com. so it has to be someone associated with LEGO hobby in one form or another, this has happened in the past week. April 26, 201014 yr its on the microsoft warning, it just came in in the past couple of days, from records shown, sqame with BrickLink. I'm still clueless. "Microsoft Warning"? What's that? I did a Bing search with no problems.... More clues please?
April 26, 201014 yr Author I'm still clueless. "Microsoft Warning"? What's that? I did a Bing search with no problems.... More clues please? basically it was reported by someone, but not authenticated, my security software picks up any and all potential problems and when I just logged in it stated someone reported this site as unsafe, right now I have no further information but until verified it will eventually go away, what happened is someone reported this site to their security provider as being unsafe, it may be someone who is just irked at this site or someone in general, wouldn't worry about it much, but the fact someone would do something so rude irks me.

What security software?
April 26, 201014 yr It sounds as though it could be some irritating Internet Explorer feature. My family who use IE always complain to me when IE won't let them into a site because it is potentially dangerous. I wouldn't worry about it too much, we know this site is safe, as is Bricklink. April 26, 201014 yr Author What security software? its a program my company designed for us since their really tight on security it updates with early warnings and potential problems and such, somebody reported this site as unsafe so it got flagged when I scanned today, but odds are it will be cleared up in a few days when checked.

Ahhhghhhhhhhghhhhh! OK so it's a warning in some custom software that no-one will see but you and people from the same company as you? (How could this be a "Microsoft Warning" then? ) Does that mean someone from your company reported EB? If so, it doesn't really matter that much.

April 26, 201014 yr Surely you have a setting in your software which allows you to allow certain sites? How can I view this Microsoft data? Why doesn't it reflect on Bing? Because Bing is inferior.
April 26, 201014 yr Author Perhaps, but it's a Microsoft site. and Bing is still inferior as to how you view the data, no clue, im user not a programmer.
April 26, 201014 yr as to how you view the data, no clue, im user not a programmer. Do you know who else would view this data as a user? For example Internet Explorer doesn't flag EB as evil. Without knowing how a user can view this I can't make a judgment on if I should try to do anything about this.

April 26, 201014 yr The only thing I noticed the last couple of days as unusual, is that some certificate for brickforge is not valid anymore. This pops up in my Opera browser when I'm in a thread where a guy has a brickforge link in his "banner" (or what ever it's called that thing at the bottom of each post)

Are they using a Barracuda? Was it just installed or updated? The newest version of Barracuda blocks all sites with registrations until IT goes in and physically enters a web site name to an exception list.

April 27, 201014 yr it just said in red that this sight is dangerous to me. its weird What is "it" in this case? What program?
April 27, 201014 yr well, I agree with that person! this site IS dangerous! since the day I found this site for the first time, I started to slowly get out of the black tunnel I was in and my funds started to slowly decrease due to a growing addiction to lego. nowadays I'm back in another tunnel and I must get my dose of eurobricks every day... the admnistrator should make a popup warning saying this site is really addictive! have a nice lego day p.s. by the way, I never experienced any warnings during the past months! so I think it's a problem related to your company software.

Seems like their way of saying, "stop surfing the net while at work", but that's just me.
April 27, 201014 yr and Bing is still inferior as to how you view the data, no clue, im user not a programmer. So who are you?? You get reports from Microsoft saying a random person flagged this site as innapropriate? You're not making any sense at all. well like I said I wouldn't worry about it other then to wonder who has it in for you guys, since microsoft does research on all complaints, and thats what this was as of that time just a complaint, and since nothing will come of it it will even be gone as a complaint. I'm so lost, are you a Microsoft employee, or did someone walk by your desk, see you were on EB and report it to be blocked since you shouldn't be on at work.
