Im sorry if i shouldn't have post this topic here but i didn't find a related place :( Also sorry if somebody else posted this question, when i searched for it nothing came out.

So here's the deal:

I've gotten the QCP9000 and i want to make brickfilms with it. The problem is, that the software they gave me cannot focus it. If somebody knows how to fix the software, or knows about a better software, please, tell me =)

I would try using MonkeyJam to run the camera. It's the program most animators I know use for there animation (if they do it with a free program anyway) MonkeyJam compiles you frames and does lots of other functions. You can even open you camera through that program. (If you do download it you will have to spend a little time getting use to it) The QCP9000 doesn't have perfect Macro clarity also. Its not going to be like some of the images you see on EB. (You'll need a digital camera in most cases for that kind of quality)

To open your QCP9000 what pops up when you try to use it. You should have a big box with the image you are going to film/photograph pop up and a small thinner rectangle pop up in a different box next to it. You then go to the gear and can change the focus by moving the cursor to the left to focus (more macro) and the right to focus (more long range). You will have to turn off the auto-zoom first as this won't allow for much of anything. When animating also remember to shut your curtains (let no light in other than you controlled studio lamps) and change all of your settings to manual.
