As a fan of the Jeep Wrangler, I must say this looks spot on, and it amazes me that it has power.

Yes I am, thank you !! But you are the true master: you deserve much more credit for this creation than I do. Making my own TT-chassis would propably take weeks of building, testing and breaking gears & U-joints.

I must say that discovering your website and your fantastic models (about 9 months ago) has inspired me so much that I have spent many, many more hours (weeks, months) with my Lego-bricks than I would otherwise have done. And I would like to thank you very much for that. I'm especially amazed by your building speed, you seem to be able to make very complex models in a limited amount of time. I will definately keep following your work.

Does it mean that differentials for driving wheels is no good choice for truck trial (offroad testing)?

They are certainly no good choice for some really challenging obstacles, like the ones we have in our races. Generally, if you don't have option to lock the differential at any moment (which involves complex mechanisms), your vehicle's performance will be severely degraded by the differential. Removing the differential completely, on the other hand, won't do any harm, unless we're talking about a vehicle with some really big weight, wheelbase and very wide tires. It will only result in larger turning radius and some additional strain on the drive motor while turning, that's all.

Wow, you're fast. I just posted those. The real photograph was used for reference because in one of the renders I made some changes to color, roll cage design, and tires to make the model more scale accurate (but less good as a trial truck).

Funnily enough, I often come across NetCarShow looking for some reference material and this photo was among several photos I've been looking through to get the general idea of Wrangler's look :)

This Jeep is the best model you (Sariel) built. I'm just plain amazed of your building speed/MOC quality. I would build it, but i don't have the pieces. I saw your interview on youtube and pictures on your website, and i saw how "small" amount of pieces you have. Then i realized "It doesn't matter how many pieces you have, it matters how you use them". Congratulations to you sir, congratulations for inspiring other people to USE their pieces wall and to make new models.
