AnseltheCat Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 (edited) Good morning all, I have been lurking for the last few months and finally decided to join this wonderful site. I started buying some Star Wars sets around six months ago for a number of reasons; 1. Well, they are so very cool. 2. As little rewards, to help myself give up smoking. 3. To give my hands something else to do, instead of smoking. It's now almost six months since my last cigarette and the collection has grown some what, partly due to my generous girlfriend who buys me a set every month or so as a well done for being smoke free. Apart from Lego my other main hobbies are videogames (I've been playing these for over 30 years now!), photography (I'm semi-pro, at times) and recently gardening. Hello! Peppermint_M Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Just remember that the money saved on giving up smokes can now be spent on ABS bricks Good on you for quitting and welcome to a fun addiction hobby. Enjoy the forums :) Quote
Rufus Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Ahhh, the best way to lose an addiction - swap it for another! Congrats nonetheless; nice to see another Londoner on the site. How about combining your two hobbies and doing some Lego reviews? Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 (edited) Welcome to EB. I look forward to seeing some of your creations. Your photography skills will sure come in handy if you MOC. I wish I was a better photographer...as it stands I think I kind of suck at it.. Edited May 6, 2010 by Commodore Hornbricker Quote
