May 7, 201014 yr Thanks for the review of this set. I have been wanting this model some time by now. The big let down is the stickers of the bigger wedge pieces. Overall a good set never the less.

Yeah, and then again maybe not. Getting large wedge parts without stickers can be really useful for MOCing. Stickers isn't always a let down... though I'd prefer printed parts anytime
May 7, 201014 yr Stickers and Clone Wars-styled Astromech are bad, but the rest is fine. Looking back, I really should have bought all those previous starfighters to go with this one. I don't know why I didn't get any...
May 7, 201014 yr I MUST HAVE. I have been looking for a set with Plo Koon for the longest time and am not willing to spend crazy $$$ on the gunship just to get him. Thanks for the review and video review, most appreciated!!!!
May 7, 201014 yr Nice review, and great set.. Not sure why they picked Plo again... I wished for Quinlan...
May 7, 201014 yr Thanks for the poll Kim, Even with an existing Plo Kloon in my inventory, I may get this, I really like the colors.
May 7, 201014 yr Good review...but it's basically the same model as Anakin's and Asoka's starfighters. I like the ejector seat feature and the clip to hold the lightsaber (I did that already with my Anakin's ship when it first bought it...gotta have some spot for those lightsabers...the kid's will lose them for sure..;) PS...I like your bedspread. May 7, 201014 yr I Love all these starfighters because they all look the same. It may sound strange but they look great in a set . Its great that they add really good jedis in the sets that are harder to get. I definitely agree that this is the best one yet but I dont really get why they added a clip to hold his lightsabre. What I did is just put the whole thing in the cockpit with the jedi and it still works. His new droid looks great. I really hope they continue to produce these starfighters! I feel the same. I can understand why some may not be in love with another Starfighter that's essentially exactly the same but I think the ships have a great design and Anakins and Ahsoka's look great together, looking forward to adding this one to my collection and hope they do someone elses in the next wave of sets too. I think Mace Windu's is a good possibility. Kit Fisto and Obi-wans have also appeared, but they both look too similar to Ahsoka's.
May 7, 201014 yr Very average set. This is really just Lego's attempt to sell us another, albeit different colored, Jedi Starfighter. If I didn't already have Plo Koon is would consider this set, but it really isn't worth it otherwise. The new droid color is interesting though!
May 7, 201014 yr Turns out the ship should actually be called the Blade of Dorin ,who knew? And I can't wait to see General Grevious' starfighter
May 7, 201014 yr Thanks for the review! This sets a great way to add Plo Koon (and R7-F5) to your collection. I like the way the pattern has been achieved but this really should have been dark blue and white - that's the colour Plo's fighter is! Ach well, I'm lucky enought to own Plo already so might have to give this one a miss unless i can snare it at a bargain.
May 8, 201014 yr One thing I like about the CW Jedi starfighters is how Lego keeps the general look consistant but still changes the build a bit. Its also good to have a new astromech droid but I wish Plo Koon had a plastic head. That wesker is exactly what I don't like about the newer LEGO Jedi starfighters. It's like they just gave up on a better design and decided a new paint job would change something. (The annoying 6212 X-wing comes to mind...) At least with the second Eta-2 Actis in 7661 they changed up the cockpit a bit so it would look better. In spite of that, the alternating plates on the "wings" of the ship look quite nice, and I'm glad they managed to fit Plo Koon into a set cheaper than $80. (Now they only need to do the same with Lando Calrissian, Jango Fett, and Luminara Unduli.) Edited May 8, 201014 yr by fallenangel327
May 8, 201014 yr Author I am on holiday in Great Yarmouth until Monday. I just wanted to pop in and say i bought Greivous ship with me to build. Finished it and will upload it when i get back....but wanted to say... ....The new Greivous mini figure. OH. MY. FREAK. ING. GOD. Amazing minifigure. It alone justifies set price lol: :D
November 1, 201014 yr I like the R7-D4..hmm maybe buy it for the MF. It's actually called R7-F5 according to Wookieepedia and Brickipedia, and the latter states that TLG put the name R7-D4 on it due to it being called that in a somewhat inaccurate source. Lord Embo

November 1, 201014 yr Please do not bump a centuries-old thread, thanks. Please don't post like you're staff. It confuses members and often the mini-modder (that's you) gets it wrong. As it turns out you did. Yeah, it's not a new topic, but it's been inactive for under six months and he did add useful information so it's OK by me. We do have some vague guidelines on this issue here.

I'd hate the be the one to bump this again but I just got this one on sale today at target for $19 and it was worth the price (on sale for a while at target and wal mart for $19 USD). The fig is always cool to have and the brown astro is an awesome addition to a theme that is dominated by R2D2... Excellent review, really does it justice and truthfully think it is a great quick buy even if it is for the parts. Too many stickers though but the ejection feature is one of the most underrated parts of the set. The fig goes pretty darn far when you trigger that thing. Must buy IMHO for SW fans, great addition to any star fleet. Thanks for the review, I would have passed this one up if I hadn't read it today.
December 11, 201014 yr I don't know if I should get this set now: 1. Beautiful blue 2. rare Plo-koon & droid but besides that, nothing else seems to stand out. I don't have a jedi starfighter so maybe this would be a nice first, but as a set itself, it doesn't seem to have that draw: maybe because he's a minor character.
