May 28, 201014 yr Thanks for the US codes, Noisy. I was just about to look for them in other threads. You're welcome! I have a review for the figures up at my blog too, but I'm not sure if it's okay to post stuff like that. I stopped by TRU last night b/c I saw that US posters were reporting sightings. I went in unarmed (no bar codes) and instead of feeling them, I just compared codes to make sure I didn't get any repeats. I bought random the first time and that's exactly what I did too. If nothing else, that's the great thing about the bar codes.
May 28, 201014 yr ... I picked up two Crash Test Dummies (not cool) in the eight I bought. ...that double could have been a robot or wrestler, which would have been so much better. To each his own! The first time I went hunting, I picked two Wrestlers by accident. The Wrestler is probably the least favorite of all the figures for me, and the Crash Test Dummy is the best. I'd offer to swap, but the postage and mailer would cost more than picking up another one from TRU Peter
May 31, 201014 yr Is it just me, or are the bows that the Forestman and Tribal Hunter have different from the old, traditional LEGO bows? If they are different, I'm trying to decide if that makes me happy or sad... probably sad...
May 31, 201014 yr Is it just me, or are the bows that the Forestman and Tribal Hunter have different from the old, traditional LEGO bows?If they are different, I'm trying to decide if that makes me happy or sad... probably sad... I just checked and yes, there is a difference. A very, very slight difference with the arrow being about 1 millimetre longer on the new bow and a little change in the angles of the ends of the bow. It's very hard to spot unless you hold one bow over one other. Don't see a reason for why this would make anyone sad because it's a very insignificant change and is, as said, hardly noticeable.
June 1, 201014 yr For those who have found them at Walmart and Toys R Us here in the US where did you find them located at? Here in Tallahassee, FL, I have yet to see them in any store other than Toys 'R' Us. The TRU here keeps them with the rest of the LEGO sets, though I understand other stores in other locations do things differently.

Thanks for checking that out. I'm not sure how to explain why it would disappoint or annoy me :P. I'm not sure what the purpose of the different bow could - just to be different from the conventional LEGO bow? Such a small difference doesn't really make sense, IMO - I mean, if they made the whole bow noticeably longer or something, then yes ... but such a slight difference? Who cares? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just continue using the same bow?

June 2, 201014 yr It seems like all of the accessories have been slightly modified. I even noticed some differences in the diver's visor: A slightly higher nose, and althered vertical lines on the sides, along with a new © LEGO stamp.
June 3, 201014 yr Does anyone know if the codes posted by Noisy are for US only? I'm in Europe and wondered if they are different here? My skills at feeling bags for content is having mixed results

June 3, 201014 yr I just picked up 74 of them, 5 little kids decided to steal my cart, when I turned my back and run with it. A man who worked there got took the cart back. I was so happy when I got $5 off because of my 'bad shopping' time. I felt bad I got all the figs TRU had. Wmanidi Edited June 3, 201014 yr by wmanidi

August 27, 201014 yr I waited to vote for Series 1 until I knew about Series 2, so at least there is some grade benchmark... All these series are going to be mixbags of minifigs from totally different themes, so obviously each person is going to see different strengths and weaknesses in a series. Let's say a series is good if it provides new subjects, new pieces (hair/headgears and accessories) and new prints, however the latter is pretty much going to be a given. Series 1 has 5-6 unprecedented minifig ideas, so only about 1/3 of the total minifigs. There is a nice bunch of new hair pieces if I understand right, but only 3 new accessories (ponpon, trumpet and club). Not much... I'd rate Series 1 only 3/5, as it's not bad but it fails to impress me, and I've read that the quality of parts is inferior to normal Lego standards, which is quite a nonsense to me since I would actually expect a "collectable" series to be of equal or even better quality than normal, especially since the price per minifig is the highest ever. I cannot confirm if the quality is really lower, since I don't have yet any of these... I think I'll probably stay away completely from Series 1 (which anyway is already hard to find). I certainly would not buy these randomly, as there are only a couple of them which I find plain cool to have (Clown and Cheerleader), and a few more which would be useful for me anyway (Magician, Skater, Forestman).
April 20, 201311 yr How much do you think a complete set of these would be worth to someone if they were interesested in buying them in a display case? http://i36.tinypic.com/2wcfp0n.jpg Edited April 20, 201311 yr by Rick Max size for embedded images is 800 x 600 px

Please don't bump an old topic if you have nothing to add to the review, especially when you only reply to attempt to sell something. Buying, Selling and Trading should be restricted to the appropriate forum. Be sure to read the rules for BSTF before you post though. Thanks. Also, embedded images are restricted to a maximum of 800 x 600 pixels.
December 17, 201410 yr I recently bought a Super Wrestler and had a question. Looking at the top of his head, mine has the "Y" with an open gap. Is this correct for all the wrestler heads, or does he come without a gap in the top of his head? Just wondering if mine is legit, thanks

Just wondering if mine is legit, thanks It would help if you'd post a picture, so we can see what you mean. Mine are all "normal," I think (with the usual hollow stud with a little y-shaped thing in it), but I'll double check. Looking back at my older posts here, I see something I'd like to update: Here in Tallahassee, FL, I have yet to see them in any store other than Toys 'R' Us. The TRU here keeps them with the rest of the LEGO sets, though I understand other stores in other locations do things differently. I did eventually see Series 1 at a couple other stores in Tallahassee (where I lived then; I recently moved to Stone Mountain, part of the greater Atlanta metropolitan area), though they were smaller toy stores in less well-known chains (a Learning Express and a Hobbytown USA). Toys 'R' Us is the only major chain I ever personally saw Series 1 in, though, but beginning with Series 2 I began seeing them in Target, Walmart, etc.

I ask, because series 12 heads do not have the "Y" and the studs are not hollow.
