Just doing a quick count over the previous pages I spotted 15 unique users asking for more musical figures...and I have to agree with them.

Maybe a violin, cello, sax, director, or a drummer? I would love any of these!

As previously said dozens of times, TLC will NEVER release a modern warfare minifigure.

I just don't get why is still people failing to understand this simple concept.

No offence meant.

Is that really true? :(

It's a shame, I'm kind of needing a soldier for my "Village People" reconstruction and I only need the soldier. Shame...

Is WWII too recent?

A WWI "doughboy" might be old/charming enough...

I'd like to see a classic spaceman in a new colour, too.

I agree, a spaceman, circa 70s style would be great. I suppose a WW1 Tommy or Doughboy would probably be acceptable. Hopefully..... :hmpf_bad:

Gender: Male

Occupation/print on torso: Confederate Soldier

Type of headgear: grey version of the old Wild West soldier hats (can't recall the name right now...)

Type of facial expression: concentrated

Color on torso/legs: light grey, or the light blue from the Lone Ranger soldiers would be alright

Accessory: rifle (grey)

There's two different versions of Union soldiers now with the release of the Lone Ranger, but there's still no way to get any Confederate soldiers.

I'm not sure if I used anyone elses ideas I couldn't read all 23 pages. Sorry if I did.

Personally I would be happy with anything Roman related. Flag bearers, any kind of soldier, women, another gladiator.... anything!

Out of the ideas I've read, I think the invisible man has the most potential.

Also, I think a Terracotta warrior and a Satyr could be great.

I would love to see some old ideas re-done. Such as the Anubis or a Sensie Wu like Kung

Fu master character, but maybe others prefer more original minfigs.

Did anyone mention a Canadian Mountie? That would be cool.

Or what about an Ancient assassin ( who fought Sparta)?

I'm expecting a female zombie very soon.

The one minifigure I'm hoping for is a maid.. Sadly that probably won't happen for a while now because of what the line will look like in 2014. Also maybe an Uncle Sam or a guy on crutches!

The CMF Series line in 2014 will be based on the upcoming The LEGO Movie film. Maybe it will happen in May 2014.

Yeah but it's rumored that series 13 will be of the Simpsons, and series 14 something else that I don't remember.

I've merged this with a similar thread in the Embassy forum.

There are a lot of people here wanting figures that may in real life be mounted on a horse, 'Canadian Mountie' for example. Also some of the older soldier figures. Perhaps they could do a series where the figures are mounted on a horse or similar? It would cost a bit more per packet, say £4.00 UK money. But just think of the possibilities even for the custom horses as well!!

Also the thing with a modern soldier. I agree with the TLg policy in general, not to produce figures that could be identified with any particular country and I am fairly certain that even WWi or WWII figures would be different enough to say this one is British, American, German and so on. But nowadays especially where a lot of armies around the world have been equipped by the USA, UK, France or whichever power it is hard to tell just from looking at the basic kit which country soldiers come from. For example if you had an Iraqi soldier, an Afghanistan soldier, British soldier and an American soldier as long as they had no unit markings etc would we at LEGO yellow skin scale be able to really tell them apart? They would pretty much be from the vast majority of countries just a basic soldier that could come from any country you liked.

Take the toy story ones. I have collected a few packets of them and swapped out the hands and heads to be yellow. they have a basic green uniform (Which I realise is based off of plastic toy soldiers.) which whilst it looks fairly modern American/Western in origin is generic enough to have come from any old place really. Maybe TLG could do similar as an input to a CMF range as it would be vague enough to not be from one place or another. In fact they could still keep the green hands, face bit and those of use who want an army could just swap those heads and so on as we liked.

It's not a matter of depicting any particular country. TLG has a stated policy of not producing toys that depict "modern era" real world war or violence. Stylized fantasy or history is ok. But no modern (20th century+) soldiers and no guns for Police or criminals. They may be creeping a little bit into the 20th century with some of the industrial era steampunk vibe of Monster Fighters. And they have briefly crossed their declared lines with some licensed sets (Indiana Jones, Smallville, Toy Story) But they will still be very very picky about anything that comes close to modern style warfare.

And yeah I know that there are thousands of Internet rules lawyers who will seek to pick apart inconsistencies in TLG's policy or look for loopholes. But honestly I think we all do really understand what it is they are doing, and what the contexts are that they seek to avoid.

I did suggest before Series 10 was announced that there should be a Series with a larger accessory. For me, it would be much better than the Simpsons idea or if the movie figures all turn out to be remakes. For example, a shepherd with a sheep or a patient in a wheelchair. I quite like the figures we have had with animals like the monkey, chihuahua and seagull but I suppose these would be easier to 'feel the packets'.

I don't think a Canadian Mountie would need to have a horse with it and I also suggested a soldier could be a UN Peacekeeper with khaki clothes and a light blue bib and helmet. That way it doesn't have to represent a particular nationality.

I'm not really pleased that Series 13 is rumoured to be the Simpsons and not sure I believe it. Also concerned that the film Series will be just a bunch of old figures with nothing new. However, a classic space guy in a new colour would be welcome (I'd vote green).

Yeah, add me to the list that doesn't like LEGO and The Simpsons crossing over.

the target audience would be fairly small, as already stated by someone else, and MOCs would have to be Simpsons themed. Also, people who really want to collect all of the mystery bag mini figures but don't like the Simpsons might either be really reluctant to collect the new series or might skip it altogether. Somehow I don't think they'll sell too well.

I hope LEGO don't start doing licensed minifigure bags, that's what the main sets are for.

I like the idea of the Irish harp player someone mentioned a couple of posts above.

A golfer or a footballer perhaps? Or maybe a pilot.

Both a pilot and a football player have been done before, in series 2 and 8 respectively. I for one think Lego should release a tin-man, a "country girl", and a lion suit guy with a scared expression. This way, I can have a full Wizard of Oz collection. I would also be very supportive of a principal, teacher, student kind of thing. I've always wanted Lego to release a modular school, and if that won't happen then a good batch of minifigs would suffice. I think I'll post more detailed descriptions of these "imaginary mini's" later.

LEGO City made a SWAT-style police minifigs with no guns, but with handcuffs instead. And also S11 featured a Constable that has a baton(I don't know if is considered a weapon or a gear). For the Halloween theme, TLG could not make any horror minifigs that depicts as a serial killer like Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees.

A golfer or a footballer perhaps? Or maybe a pilot.

An old school pilot was already in S3 and a Footballer was in S8. However, what about a detailed Airline Pilot in Navy Blue Uniform with a suitcase?
