Thomas of Tortuga Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) LEGO City made a SWAT-style police minifigs with no guns, but with handcuffs instead. And also S11 featured a Constable that has a baton(I don't know if is considered a weapon or a gear). For the Halloween theme, TLG could not make any horror minifigs that depicts as a serial killer like Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. An old school pilot was already in S3 and a Footballer was in S8. However, what about a detailed Airline Pilot in Navy Blue Uniform with a suitcase? The one Lego Movie set that has been revealed has robotic SWAT Team minifigures, in an armored car, with assault rifles. I guess the fact that they're robots makes it fine for Lego, since moccers are outside of their official position. Edited October 28, 2013 by Thomas of Tortuga Quote

I guess the fact that they're robots makes it fine for Lego, since moccers are outside of their official position. I think their technical stand is that "real world, modern era, human on human" violence and firearms are not allowed. So no armed City Police. But fantasy robotic swat assault teams are fine. Quote

BimmerBoy Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I think there are a lot of potential Minifigs if Lego looks at producing more children (pun intended). School uniform torsos, school accessories (back packs, note pads, etc), pig tail hair pieces for girls, kids in super hero costumes for Halloween, t-shirt/short sleeve torsos, and so on. Quote
Garwolak Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 4) Polish Winged Hussar : 15th-18th century cavalry. Possibly the most badass soldiers ever. Pros- Awesome costume, which incorporated wings, many weapons and later cool shields. Cons- "A winged what?" Gender:Male Torso: Armour and Wings! Type of headgear: helmet Type of facial expression: Confident Accessory: Long lance( maybe a sabre for his left hand) YES! I love you for this suggestion! The Winged Hussars were pretty much the European equivalent of japanese samurai, but since Poland is really bad at PR, no-one knows about them. It's really unlikely that TLG ever makes this fig, at this stage something like a Cossack is much more possible, but LEGO - trust me - Polish AFOLs would kill for that Hussar minifig. P.S. the sabre shouldn't be a "maybe". A Hussar without a sabre is like a samurai without his katana ;) Quote
The Architect Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 I'd like to see more peasants in the castle sets or even better, in series packs. Quote

Gender: Female Occupation/print on torso: Kunoichi Type of headgear: ninja hood or scarf (I'm now thinking the scarf would be more unique) Type of facial expression: determined & confident Color on torso/legs: white with red detail Accessory: katana & shuriken Gender: Male Occupation/print on torso: Warlock Type of headgear: wizard cap or ranger hood (Second might be cooler.) Type of facial expression: snarky, somewhat menacing but not overly so Color on torso/legs: black with gold & red details, could have a logo and color scheme harkening back to the Fright Knights Accessory: tome of spells, baby dragon, maybe this pot in dark grey as a little cauldron of sorts Edited February 6, 2014 by TheOrcKing Quote

The Ninja Princess minifig. The Warlock sounds cool. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I think we got the Kunoichi you describe back in the Ninja series. The Ninja Princess minifig. That was part of my inspiration aside from the Series 1 Ninja. I figure for a future series, we could have a female companion character maybe. The Warlock sounds cool. Thanks, it is one of my better ideas. Ha. I would like to see more classic Castle type of characters pop up or get referenced in the Collectable Minifigures line. The Heroic Knight and Evil Knight were great; now we just need a Royal King and Queen for a future series. Maybe even a Dragon Rider or something. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 (edited) A couple more ideas for the Collectable Minifigures line. Gender: Female Occupation/print on torso: Flower Child (basically a female companion to the Series 7 Hippie) Type of headgear: this hairpiece or this one or this one in blonde or dirty blonde coloring Type of facial expression: peaceful (somewhat similar to Series 8 Fairy) Color on torso/legs: 70's flower print pattern, legs look like bell bottoms Accessory: bouquet of flowers same as Series 7 Hippie, maybe this hand basket to set those in Gender: Male Occupation/print on torso: Troll/Orc Warrior (A throwback to Fantasy Era Castle not Lord of the Rings) Type of headgear: this helmet in dark gray (I actually like these; they have a D&D look to them.) Type of facial expression: classic Fantasy Era troll/orc face with more modern details like a couple of a scars Color on torso/legs: sand green skin with some chains, brown leather, and bits of metal plating Accessory: battle scarred Scimitar, breastplate, and either this shield or this one in dark gray with marks of age and battle Edited February 13, 2014 by TheOrcKing Quote
Legoroni Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 (edited) After seing The Lego Movie, I had a thought for a new series of Collectable Minifigs. This would be a sort of "Legends" line, full of updates to old Lego minifigs, like the new Johnny Thunder. Ideas include Time Cruisers, Rock Raiders, M-Tron, Adventurers, Alpha Team, Agents, etc. They would have the budget to make a non-broken version of the Classic Space helmet here. Color on torso/legs: Pink dress design Accessory: A shepherd’s crook and possibly a lamb or sheep if not too big Gender: Female Occupation/print on torso: Speed skater Type of headgear: Helmet Type of face: Determined Color on torso/legs: Any Accessory: Ice skates (nothing new, I know, but a good re-use of parts and a way to build up a collection of skates for winter/ice rink MOCs without relying on old series. Also a means of having a female character that is represented as being a strong role model. Come on Series 12! Edited February 18, 2014 by lifeinplastic Quote
