But I think a must-have that hasn't been done is Napoleon Bonaparte!

Color on torso/legs: Combination of dark blue, white, and red. Dual molded legs black boots.

I agree with this idea, but I think he should have short legs. Napoleon was short, if I remember my History classes correctly.

No, he wasn't. It was a British mistake (or even propaganda). He was 1.68 m.

I love this.

To get a minifig based off of me is literally one of my goals as an actor.

There's an impressive number of minifigures in this thread and some that have been mentioned a before that I really like the sound of, like Napoleon, Mozart, Barbershop quartet guy, Chimney Sweep, ladybird girl and Golfer (male or female, the sport has such an outrageous fashion trends that I think we can have both, form different time periods). These were all on my list when I was trying to think of missing ones.

I have a couple more suggestions

Milkmaid:

A Dutch inspired minifigure...

Gender: Female

Expression: Sweet and innocent, maybe dual moulded with a hard-working, strained but determined expression for while she is lifting heavy buckets of milk

Print on Torso: white cotton under shirt with a blue corset on top. Arms a dual moulded yellow on bottom white on top, maybe with lace printing.

Headgear: recoloured pretzel girl girl in a light brown colour, with a white milkmaid cap on top, a cotton cap withe a ridge at the top, attaches in the hairpiece hole.

Legs: Either a cloth skirt in blue with a white apron detail over white legs with blue shoes or a blue slope piece with apron printing.

Accessory: Definitely a bucket, ideally to buckets and a new moulded piece that goes over the neck to hold the buckets, but minifigure arms don't bend right so maybe that won't work.

Bird Watcher (Twitcher):

Gender: Male or Female.

Torso: Tweed jacket with things in the pockets like notepad, brown with lighter brown check pattern on top, olive green patches printed on sleeves and olive green pockets

Legs: Jacket printing continued onto legs, duel moulded legs to give green wellies (rubber boots)

Head gear: wide rimmed hat, could be the same hat as farmer and scarecrow in olive green.

Accessory: Duck, a male mallard and maybe binoculars.

Also long overdue:

Teacher

Gender: Either (but I know that a lot of female teachers would love a female figure)

Occupation/print on torso: Buttoned shirt, or a sweater like Amy Farrah Fowler's

Type of headgear: Nice hair.

Type of facial expression: Happy. Possibly with glasses.

Color on torso/legs: Multiple combinations work. Possibly jeans or black pants.

Accessory: A whiteboard with chalk or a teaching stick. Another possibility is an apple.

After the roman soldiers how about some Greeks?

Greek Philosopher

Gender: male

Occupation/print on torso: white torso with print of chiton and/or himation (aka. that long white robes people wore in that days), bare arms

Type of headgear: white hair and long white beard

Type of facial expression: concerned look, features of old age

Color on torso/legs: white torso, white legs with print of creases matching the torso print

Accessory: a scroll or a 2x2 tile with a print of Greek letters, a long walking stick; maybe, if that's not too much for a single minifigure, a white bust with a different style of beard representing a mentor/teacher of the philosopher

Greek Athlete

Gender: male

Occupation/print on torso: bare torso with short white garment only held up on 1 shoulder (a realistic nude athlete wouldn't really be appropriate for Lego  )

Type of headgear: dark short hair whith laurel wreath as sign of victory

Type of facial expression: young face with confident expression

Color on torso/legs: yellow torso, yellow legs with white print on thighs representing the short garment, sandals

Accessory: different pieces of sport equipment possible like spear or discus; a trophy in form of a greek vase preferably black-figured (think of Panathenaic amphorae)

Greek Actor

Gender: male

Occupation/print on torso: white robe with creases similar to the philospoher

Type of headgear: dark hair, maybe with some colorful features like ribbons

Type of facial expression: overexaggerated comedic or tragic expression, lots of makeup, white painted face with highlighted features like bright red lips, dark rings arund the eyes etc.

Color on torso/legs: white torso, white legs

Accessory: a tragic and a comedic theater mask on short sticks that can be held by the minifigure

I agree - Greeks, more Romans, more Egyptians (not mummies)... Plus - Persians, Gauls and other ancient themes. Lets our space, city and other minifigs stand on the shoulders of ancients!

I like the idea for a Greek Chorus member.

I would love to see some figures based on Commedia Dell'arte Arte stock characters.

They're all so distinctly different, yet make a really cool group.

Ponda Baba

Iconic Star Wars mini figure who has woefully never gotten a mini-figure

Great War Soldier

It's the 100th anniversary of the Great War and while I know Lego doesn't want to promote war, a figure most likely with a British doughboy design would be fantastic. It would work in so many non ww1 scenarios as well. Really any scenario from set between 1900 to 1937 (Us Americans still used the basic design at the beginning of WW2  )

Idea:

Corn Suit Guy:

He wears a costume like a giant corn kernel.

Corn Suit Guy 2:

He wears a suit like a giant ear of corn.

All I could think of was the scene with Chris Rock from Pootie Tang

Type of headgear: headscarve

Type of facial expression: normal satisfied look

Color on torso/legs: red legs with the lower part of the apron printed on

Accessory: a microfig with also a similar print of the matryoshka doll minifig.

Poacher:

Gender: male

Occupation/print on torso: lumberjack shirt in dark green

Type of headgear: mullet in different color

Type of facial expression: a bit of a silly/dumb look

Color on torso/legs: jeans with green boots, or green or grey camouflage legs

Accessory: a bear trap

So my hope for a Wolfpack character reboot came to fruition, but they made him a dark green archer. Now we need a dark brown Wolfpack bandit.
