tazosaure Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Wrestler/Fighter category: - "boxer" with gloves that fits akin to the cheerleader's pom poms. Music category: - "jazzman" with a saxophone and fedora. - "marching band" with a snare or bass drum, this could be an army builder for anyone wanting a college marching band/fanfare/military parade/etc... (especially the snare drum I guess) Monster category: - "creature of the black lagon" a completly printed minifig with scales all around (ala mummy in S3), i think this is the last of the classic horror monster missing - "grim reaper" with a really cool hoodie cape and an updated skull head (maybe just a very detail skull print on a black head piece so it could be reuse in a dia de los muertos MOC) maybe a little bit too dark for TLG brand though... Warriors category: - "conquistador" a great opportunity for an update on the original helmet and torso from the pirate theme. Team sports category: - "basketball player" to stay both in the olympic sports and the retired lego theme revival. A nice twist on the original theme would be a woman player. - "rugby player" with polo torso and hopefully a ball that could be combined with S3 hockey guy for an american football fig. Girly category: - "fairy" same pointy ears as the elf and wolfman but within a more girly haircut, wings and a wand. - "mermaid" (after all the little mermaid is in copenhagen) accessory could be a small crab. City category: - "geek" with pens in the shirt pocket, freckles, glasses and a laptop. - "chopper biker" zz-top beard, leather pants & tattoos and a black recolor of the toystory army man helmet Space category: - "little grey man" an x-files style alien rather than the space-police style one from S3. I wouldn't mind it being a costume as the gorilla ended up being. Historical category: - "colonial men" with a white hair colonial wig that would work wonders in the pirate theme and any renaissance MOC. Just for the Fun category: - "british royal guard" for the hat! - "leprechaun" small legs figs with a red hair beard and a pipe accessory. Quote
tazosaure Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) A baby minifig would be pretty cool too with bonnet, bib, diaper and bottle or rattle. Gender: Female or Male Occupation/print on torso: Baby/Bib Type of headgear: baby bonnet Type of facial expression: sleepy Color on torso/legs: diaper Accessory: bottle and/or rattle It could either be made at the microfig scale that are used as token in LEGO board games or as an adult in baby costume if the small body does not work realistically enough... Gryphon Ink Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 My own two cents: we need more female minifigs, and not just athletes and entertainers. Amazon Gender: female Occupation: Amazon Headgear: long braid Facial Expression: two-sided, grim / alarmed Torso: leather or bronze armor Accessory: bow and sword Knitter Gender: female Occupation: knitter / crocheter Headgear: textured skullcap or short female hair (please don't make her a stereotypical granny) Facial Expression: concentrating / happy Torso: an Aran pullover or Fair Isle cardigan Accessory: knitting needles and/or crochet hook, ball of yarn, cat Veterinarian Gender: female Occupation: veterinarian Headgear: Molly Weasley hair or short ponytail Facial Expression: smiling, with glasses Torso: white lab coat Accessory: cat or rabbit and syringe Elf Maiden Gender: female Occupation: archer / healer Headgear: like Elf head with the ears, but longer hair pinned back Facial Expression: two-sided, kindly / one arched eyebrow Torso: blue or green with silver embroidery Accessory: bow (or sword, if you want to make her not be exactly like the existing Elf minifig) and shoulder pouch a la Indiana Jones. Bride of Frankenstein Gender: female Occupation: monster Headgear: um, Bride of Frankenstein hair? Towering black and white 'do that inspired a thousand copycats? Facial Expression: disgusted Torso / Legs: low-cut black gown Accessory: her hair Cat Burglar Gender: female Occupation: cat burglar Headgear: domino mask and short female hair or black skullcap Facial Expression: flirtacious / secretive smile Torso: black sweater Accessory: black backpack, money and gems (a necklace would be awesome!) Gardening Granny Gender: female Occupation: hobby gardener Headgear: wide-brimmed hat Facial Expression: smiling grandmother face, maybe with glasses Torso: colorful shirt Accessory: spade, watering can, flower Also, putting in another vote for Gill-Man AKA the Creature from the Black Lagoon. mobricki Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) Make a series with an historical theme including Lord Horatio Nelson, George Washington, Naploleon Bonaparte, Alexander the Great, Julius Ceasar, King Richard the Lionheart, Queen Elizabeth I, Mozart, Attila the Hun, Cleopatra, Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Hernando Cortez, and William Wallace. I would gladly buy all of these for my mocs. I'm sure several of these would make the people in the pirate and castle forums very happy too(hint)cough! Edited December 8, 2010 by mobricki Quote

I mean the "yellow brick" road if that's not a call to play some Legos, what is? The scarecrow from the batman theme is way too mean looking for a Wizard of Oz MOC so a new one would be great indeed (although yours is missing a hat, and a pitch fork might be a more appropriate than a broom), for the lion I could be satisfied with a tail printed on the torsos back but the head has to awesome! I'd really like this one. I'm all for more variety with the wizards...probably because I like the idea of a "wizards' guild" type of thing, with differently coloured wizards representing different factions, or specialties (wizard, sorcerer, magician, necromancer, illusionist, alchemist, etc., etc.) Quote
