RileyC Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Here's hoping we could have a Vos MF in 2011. If we'll get Vos, and Shaak and Saesee next year, it will be definitely a good year for new jedi minifigs. That would be really cool. I just hope we can get a Jedi council set sometime soon, but I digress. Its really great to see all these new character models in the series. As well as the minifig opportunities its good to have episodes that arent revolved around Obi Wan and Anakin. As for the episodes, I hope we get more 2 - 3 parters cause they are always the best ones because they are able to expand their ideas more which I think makes the clone wars really work. Quick question! Who likes Ahsoka here? Cause I do, I think shes a good addition to the Clone Wars and her relationship with Anakin is really unique and funny. Quote
The Legonater Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Is it possible they've made out Fordo to be that ARC phase 1.5 trooper? I doubt it- The 1.5 trooper had yellow armour, not red. Quote
CMP Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I doubt it- The 1.5 trooper had yellow armour, not red. Lies!!! Quote
Corvus Posted August 21, 2010 Author Posted August 21, 2010 I doubt it- The 1.5 trooper had yellow armour, not red. I've counted three so far--there was a blue one being strangled by Asajj-- but I doubt it as well. There's really no point in attaching the name Fordo to a red 1.5 clone. The only things that distinguishes Fordo in any way are his gunship and his cadre of ARC lieutenants. Quote

Oky Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I agree. There's no reason for them to say that that trooper is Fordo. Fordo was only cool because he was only seen in the much more badass miniseries, and I wouldn't want them to ruin him too. Who likes Ahsoka here? Cause I do, I think shes a good addition to the Clone Wars and her relationship with Anakin is really unique and funny No comment? Yeah, that post left me speechless too. Just kidding. Llike Jar Jar, I find her tolerable and sometimes kinda funny, but I wouldn't say that I like her. Quote

Cause I do, I think shes a good addition to the Clone Wars and her relationship with Anakin is really unique and funny. I have to say, I really don't like their relationship. I find it awkward, forced, and unfunny. 'Snips' came completely out of nowhere in the movie. That said, I don't mind Ahsoka herself. She's not badly designed as a character (as opposed to Anakin), which is very important to me. She says less stupid things than Anakin, mostly. I'd actually prefer it if she were Plo Koon's padawan- their relationship just seems so much more natural. Anakin just isn't the kind of guy to train a padawan- he's young, headstrong, and has little experience himself. Quote

I do agree that there relationship seems awkward and a little forced but I think that's mostly in the writing for Anakain. I think that they are ruinging Anakain's character a little bit by adding too much cheese. That also makes any serious moment he has very very strange. I'm also partially thinking that those new "Ultra super uber mega Battle Droids" (Whatever the frak you want to call them ) will be aquatic based. Edited August 22, 2010 by Forresto Quote
The Legonater Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 (edited) Then again, there are a lot of things in this show with no point. Master of the understatement. I don't mind Ashoka generally. Sometimes some of the stuff she says just sounds awkward and out of place, I don't at all like the Artooie thing, but the relationship seems more like Anakin goes somewhere, Ashoka follows, does something, and every once and a while Anakin gives here a somewhat unrelated lesson. XimenaPaulina Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 (edited) I found this rumored episode guide for Season 3 --> Link. I don't know if this is a reliabe source or not, but some of the titles are quite interesting, though some seem unrealistic and quite "funny". Here's the list: "The Season 3 episodes of the new Clone Wars TV series television show begin broadcasting during Friday 17 September 2010 on the Cartoon Network in the United States at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time" Episode 1 - Secrets of Darth Plagueis Episode 2 - Origin of the Force Episode 3 - Ancient Wars of Yoda Episode 4 - Millennium Falcon Liberated, Part 1 Episode 5 - Millennium Falcon Liberated, Part 2 Episode 6 - First Jedi Revealed Episode 7 - Sith Holocrons of Darth Bane Episode 8 - Young Qui-Gon Jinn on Hancarth, Part 1 Episode 9 - Young Qui-Gon Jinn on Hancarth, Part 2 Episode 10 - Rescue of Boba Fett Episode 11 - Light Saber Construction Episode 12 - Coruscant Dark Underground Episode 13 - Enter The Spice Mines of Kessel Episode 14 - The Journal of the Whills Episode 15 - The Enigma Dilemma Episode 16 - Mysteries of the Rodar Wizards Episode 17 - Ghosts of Rage Episode 18 - Terror on Alderaan Episode 19 - Roar of the Wookiees Episode 20 - Kyber Crystal Revelation Episode 21 - Desperation of Grentarik Episode 22 - The Final Sacrifice What do you think guys? Forresto Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Well I don't hink some of those sound right. First I think the whole Kamion arc will be multiple episodes like Geonosis and also, they would'nt put two two parters so close to eachother then a whole string of single episodes. Also their two parters never have the same name. Quote

Forresto Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 (edited) Thos new looking supers though are deffinantly designed for awuatic warfare because they are seen mostly attacking Shaak Ti who is on Kamino. new clip with the introduction of Saavage Opress: Link Edited August 22, 2010 by Forresto Quote

The Legonater Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Thanks Doc... that shows just how lame these titles are. Not one of them makes sence. Quote

That list sounds so fake! Not to mention that none of the episodes sound like the confirmed story arc about Kamino, Assajj, the nightsisters, and Savage. I don't think this has been mentioned before (probably 'cause it's illegal), but you can find some neat excerpts from Season 3 right here. *waves with hand* You did not get this info from me. By the way, does anybody know what that "secret corner" of the Clone Wars mural at Celebration V was all about? Edited August 22, 2010 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
The Legonater Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Interesting. Quite interesiting. Some good things here... And little bad. Which is VERY good... Quote
Corvus Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 Yeah, those titles are pretty bad. Interesting. Quite interesiting. Some good things here... And little bad. Which is VERY good... Which makes me kinda suspicious. The Commandos look good. They're not perfectly accurate, which is all right, since they had to be adapted to the rediculous proportions of the clones anyway. The battle between Dooku and the assassins looks awesome. So, Asajj doesn't die... Quote
Forresto Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Very nice! very, very nice ! I like that the clone commandos though are only a cameo appearence. I hope though that this Kamino story arc focuses mostly on the clones and not as much on Anakain and party. I think the Dooku duel though is an attempt on revenge by the Dathomoir sisters. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I doubt those names are true, young Jinn in a clone wars episode?. although a tie in with the MF would be interesting, while also being rubbish as im sure lego would then spit out a millionth MF set. Quote
The Legonater Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 So, Asajj doesn't die... What do you mean? Quote
Corvus Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 Very nice! very, very nice ! I like that the clone commandos though are only a cameo appearence. Why? Do you not like them, or do you just not want them to be ruined? What do you mean? I mean that in the trailer we see her getting carried away- and it looked like she was dead. Instead, the clip in Oky's link shows her collapsing and getting carried off to the village. She may still die, but at least it's not on the trailer. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Well if you mean return by the season coming out it comes out on the 17 of september in America, not to sure about Australia. Quote
DarthSion Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 yeah i meant when season 3 is out in the us. Quote
