I agree with Oky, I did like this episode, even if it wasn't very action-y. I did the like the redesigned characters for one, and the plan to attack Coruscant for one was good, although it made me wonder why Coruscant hadn't been attacked by the Seps yet. It was easy enough for cleaning droids to slip through security, so why not do it earlier?

I do have one other question, though. Why was Ocanda Farr in this episode? Didn't he die?

Is it just me or is Ahsoka... hornier? Her hood looks like it's bulging more, and I could have sworn that the spikes on her head are growing. It makes sense, since Shaak Ti's are even longer, but if this was an actual intention by the designers, and not my failing vision, then I'm a little impressed at their attention to detail.

Is it just my dirty mind, or the question didn't registered a clean message on my mind? But yes, Ahsoka's Togruta horns/headtails are actually longer now, showing how she physically matures along the series.

This episode was before Senate murderers.

But then the new character models contradict that. I was thinking about this all the way through I was watching it. Im pretty sure its just a stone alone episode.

Yeah they have been upsized when they got their new character models. Its good so she doesnt stay as that midget scrawny girl and turn into a bit more Aayla

Now I kind of agree with Tinn-man here. There were moments where it looked like Ahsoka was intrigued by the Separatists. Especially the quote, "It's not all black and white anymore" which I think was a strange thing to say. She really took a shining to the boy and if she is to switch I think he will be the main influence. I really do hope she gets a massive plot arc exploring this sometime soon.

And here comes Super-Soka KDM in defense of Ahsoka:

As much as I would want for the series to give a massive plot for Ahsoka, I don't think she's the type to turn into the Dark Side ala-Anakin in RoTS. And remember, she's a very likeable good character among the kids that they won't give her character a drastic 180-degree turn. That type of characterization is already reserved for Anakin, so it's highly unlikely Ahsoka will take that path even before her master does.

For those of you who are debating the episode heres the details

1. This episode takes place before Senate murders as indicated by the Episode guide: As previously reported, this episode unveils new models for several of the main characters, including upgrades to Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, and a new wardrobe for Chancellor Palpatine. Ahsoka is now older; there is an unspecified passage of time between this episode and her last appearance. With the start of this arc, which continues in "Pursuit of Peace" and concludes in Season Two's "Senate Murders," the Clone Wars storyline advances to its furthest point in the timeline, and subsequent episodes should continue going forward without as much jumping back and forth.

Since Season Two's "Senate Murders" is actually, to date, the last episode in the chronology, it's a good thing that scenes with Anakin Skywalker were cut from that episode, since he would have been sporting an outdated character model. These scenes can be seen in the Blu-Ray release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Season Two.

There you go so There is your proof

Man I am not really getting this whole prequel sequel crap they're doing this season. Why couldnt they make it linear or at least say before the episode where the episode fits in the timeline. I definitely need to buy season 2 on blu ray soon and really focus on getting it right.

Oky a few points

1. Grievous techincally didn't succesfully lead it it was the droids who did the work he could never do.

2. New Pursuit of peace preview

3. That new Mace model was actually supposed to be his original model for the Clone wars but it got changed.

He may not have lead it actively, but he still was in charge of it. It's not like he could have transformed into a vacuum cleaner himself and "led them into battle".

Thanks for the link! Looks like your average lame political episode though. Padme gets herself into trouble and escapes at the end. :sceptic:

So it's just some prelim design? :cry_sad: Oh well.

Did else anyone see both her lightsabres on her belt? I was annoyed at why they did explain why she has them.

They did? Where?

it made me wonder why Coruscant hadn't been attacked by the Seps yet. It was easy enough for cleaning droids to slip through security, so why not do it earlier?

Because there was no good reason, I think. And without a motive, Palpy surely wouldn't want the Seps to attack the place where he does all his senatey stuff.

It's not that complicated. It goes:

1. Holocron Heist.

2. Cargo of doom.

3. Children of the Force.

4. Evil Plans.

5. Hostage Crisis.

6. Hunt For Ziro.

7-9. Boba Fett Trilogy

10. Assassin

11. Heroes on Both Sides

12. Senate Murders

And somewhere between those you've got Clone Cadets, Rookies, and ARC Troopers, in that order.

The Savage Opress arc

I can definitely see Ahsoka's character arc going the way of Romeo & Juliet here but I sincerely hope it's not something they follow up on. The second the character was onscreen it was blindingly obvious they were going to be in some kind of romance plot. I do like the fact we finally got to see a different side of the separatists, but the boys character was very bland, several of the lines between the two made no sense what-so-ever and personally, I really feel it cheapens Ahsoka, who's otherwise been a great character to watch develop. Throwing in a romance arc really takes away from that and I'll be very disappointed if it's how they choose to end the series.

That aside, I thought the episode was great. The story was genuinely interesting, non action based and again, it was good to see the other side of the Separatists, that they've been insisting is there all along. Just leave the awkward teeny bopper romance out of it next time.

What's all this talk about a romantic relationship between Ahsoka and Lux? Aside from giving each other attracted looks, I didn't see anything happening between the two of them beyond a general friendship. :sceptic: And I don't think we'll be seeing the Bonteris again, so there's no chance for them to get more serious.

So this episode is what just before RotS, and she is a Jedi now?.

I wouldn't say that. If the episodes are gonna mostly move forward from now on, and considering we still have at least another season to go, there's still a lot that's gonna happen between now and RotS. I'd say we're about half-way through the war at this point.

And I don't think she's been knighted yet.

Its no Prelim design, what I mean is thats his new look but it was also supposed to be his first CW look before they decided on the one he did first get.

Where does it say that they decided to use this design after all? :look:

I don't mean to doubt you, but what do you base this on? It's kinda hard for me to believe there's so much else going on between Clone Cadets and Rookies and between Rookies and ARC Troopers.

I can believe that some time may have passed between Cadets and Rookies, but Rookies is clearly linked directly to ARC Troopers since the destruction of Rishi station warned the Republic about Grievous' attack on Kamino.

I'd still like to know the source of all the rumors you're spreading.

But the CIS fleet turned and flew away when they lost, I would have thought it'd be a little while to come up with a new plan. Their initial idea must have been to surprise them, whereas in the successful attempt, the fleet 'distracts' them from the secret underwater invasion.

Just because there are a lot of episodes between them, doesn't mean a lot of time has passed. As far as I can think, the Ryloth Trilogy and the Gunray trilogy could have overlapped as I can't recall them including the same characters.

Yeah... except most of the 35 episodes commanderneyo listed in between Rookies and Clone Cadets feature Anakin who is included in those two episodes too, so there must have been quite a lot of time between those events, and I don't think that's the case, even though the episode guide does say that there was some time between those episodes.

I hope you're right, but it was obviously pointing in that direction. And like I mentioned a while back, they have hinted at a romantic relationship plot for Ahsoka. This is obviously going to be it. (Rather than with Chuchi as we speculated :P)

As for her being a knight, one of her first lines about that did throw me off. But she is referred to as a Padawan several times later on.

On another note, do we have an episode next week? I'm not in the US and don't really know how the scheduling works but we only had a teaser for the movie being shown after the last episode, so I assume there's no more episodes for a while due to Thanksgiving then Christmas, etc?

There is the proof. This guy was told the official timeline and once he was told he redirected it to this page.

Well, I don't know how reliable this source is, but I would hardly call a list "some guy" posted on facebook official. :sceptic:

As the preview for the next episode says, we have to wait two weeks for the next episode. :sadnew:

Hmm... that looks like an intriguing episode. Some kind of assasination going on there?

Considering that Padme and Bail are the targets, I'd say not. :hmpf_bad:

Thanks for another predictable episode, CW team!
