XimenaPaulina Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 If we're going by that logic, then Grievous ought to have been killed off in the first season. But GG is not a Sith, he is supposed to lead the Droid Army and not become Dooku's apprentice. I believe Dooku is looking for his own apprentice (since Siths are always known for having secret apprentice which they will use to overthrow their master Sith Lord). Ventress has always aspired to be a Sith, and Dooku never saw her as one as she was just merely an assassin. Maybe that's one of the premise why Ventress will make a revenge towards Dooku by using Savage. Quote
General Magma Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Has anybody else noticed that one of the "ghostly-cloaked" assassins, in one of the trailers who try to kill Dooku, is Ventress? The others are most likely the nightsisters. ~ General Magma Quote
Artanis I Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Been away for ages, so let me throw in a few thoughts on stuff discussed in the recent past: Mace Windu "redesign/prelim/whateva" - why the chunky high heels?!? Are there more big secrets to this PURPLE lightsabre-wielding Jedi Master? What next?! Heroes on Both Sides - it's pretty clear that Palpatine & Dooku are collaborating & orchestrating the whole thing, and most of the worlds involved are deceived (or at the least the truth is slightly twisted [eg Dooku's claim that the sith are in control of the Republic]) into taking a certain stance. For the most part, the separatists are NOT evil, nor malevolent. Some are, but not all - goes for both sides. What I find increasingly difficult is accepting HOW THE HECK Anakin & Padme actually get along... they have no common interests or political ideals and are almost always at odds when* they're together. Call me a superSoka, I'll happily wear the label btw, but she's coming along very nicely. Costume & physical attributes look good, and I noticed she had 2 sabres on her belt, but can't remember back that far whether she whipped them out? Don't think so. * "when" indeed... Quote
commanderneyo Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 (edited) I can't figure some of you guys out, it's pretty known Ventress is actually Opress In the Opress trailer you see Opress killing Toydarians and later King Kaatunko but when you see Kaatunko dead, Ventress is there fighting Dooku not Opress. By the way proof of Kaatunko's death. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=167955516562896&set=a.167266743298440.34713.167266213298493#!/photo.php?fbid=163177290388685&set=a.109062562466825.4596.107795539260194 Edited November 30, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

Artanis I Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I don't watch trailers or previews if I can help it. It means I can watch the episode with a fairly open mind and potentially be surprised - not knowing what will happen next. It would be good if such spoilers weren't so present in this topic days before an episode is even aired. I already avoid this topic from Friday night until I've seen the new episode, so I won't read people's comments on it until after I've seen it too. Quote

Maybe she tries to kill him, and when he finds out, he uses lightning on here, like we saw before. EDIT: Just saw this. It has Asajj as a night sister on the front, I believe. CMP Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) I'm not its just it's kind of obvious No, that makes perfect sense. You know how unlikely that is, right? They are 2 completely different people, of a different species and gender, 2 near totally opposite fighting tactis, and I'm pretty sure Dooku would sense they were the same person. No I know how likely it is with Mr. Lucas changing stuff again he can do anything to it Secondly Nightsister Magic can do anything sure I noticed Asajj looks like that Nightsister Dooku Fights so if she can suddenly be like that then why not? Thirdly Try saying "Savage Opress" and "Asajj Ventress" to yourself, you realise they sound exactly the same Quote

You call that proof? Say Ziro the Hutt and Jabba the Hutt. They must be the same person. Quote

commdr_neyo Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 The january episode looks cool! My quess is that Dooku thinks she died, so she somehow takes Savage Opress' form, and wants revenge. That's just a wild quess, but it could be true, since the nightsister also 'provided' Savage to Dooku. Quote

It is true as She is in a lot of pain in that clip more than likely because she is being transformed by Nightsister magic I still think Assajj wants to get revenge directly, it'd be weird if she sat back and relaxed as Savage just randomly came in as Dooku's new apprentice, especially when you see the hatred in Savage's eyes when he meets Dooku. It looked like the Nightsisters were looking into her mind, probably because of some sort of amnesia. Tell me this. If someone tried to kill you, would you get turned into a girl just to get revenge? Hmmm? Edited December 3, 2010 by CallMePie Quote

CMP Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 (edited) My opinion Then you should say "I think they weren't looking into her mind, I think that was Ventress having visions of her past." Simply stating it like the way you did makes it seem like you believe it is a fact. I wonder if Opress will show up in later episodes, or that he will just die at the end of this arc. Oky Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 (edited) OK, commanderneyo, let's pretend your theory about Savage being Ventress is true... How do you explain this whole "Secrets of Darth Maul Revealed" ad campaign? I mean, what the heck does Ventress have to do with Maul? EDIT: Man, what a lame episode. Barely any action, very predictable, and nothing significant happened other than the clone production being halted for now. My faith in this show is dwindling. And now they make us digest this crud for a month until they finally show some actually interesting episodes. Great. It was nice, though, to finally see at least one of Padme's handmaidens again; I was wondering what happened to them. Oh, and now that his mother is dead, I think it's pretty safe to say that Lux wont have a relationship with Ahsoka. Edited December 4, 2010 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote
Clone OPatra Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 After watching that most recent episode, all I can say is… Padme's hairdo's are fake? What the heck? I always though she actually had her hair done up in crazy styles, not that she put on some weird hair-looking hat. How strange. Also, going back in the timeline for these senate episodes makes no sense. What's the point of having Farr again, especially with his aide who we know kills him. That just seems like a stupid idea to me. I liked seeing Commander Fox again two episodes back, even though he was just looking at I.D. cards and directing maintenance crews. Is that really what the Commander of the Coruscant Clone troopers does all day? Quote

Ha, that's what I thought also, Padme'e headdress was fake, though it's interesting to see the gazillions of 'real' hairdo she has in the series. And meh, another political episode, but I kinda liked the chase scene in Coruscant, but it was really weird seeing how Padme was such an expert in riding the BARC, quite unrealistic for a lady senator IMO. I always though she actually had her hair done up in crazy styles, not that she put on some weird hair-looking hat. How strange. Yes, that was an interesting bit of info. I think it makes sense. I always wondered how such a busy senator such as herself found the time to stick up her hair into such elaborate shapes on a daily basis. Also, going back in the timeline for these senate episodes makes no sense. What's the point of having Farr again, especially with his aide who we know kills him. That just seems like a stupid idea to me. Agreed, especially since they don't provide any official timeline for these episodes. It just gets everyone confused. I liked seeing Commander Fox again two episodes back, even though he was just looking at I.D. cards and directing maintenance crews. Is that really what the Commander of the Coruscant Clone troopers does all day? Well, as they said in the episode, Coruscant hasn't been attacked in a while, so there's not much else to do for security I guess. Quote
