commanderneyo Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Agreed, especially since they don't provide any official timeline for these episodes. It just gets everyone confused. Well, as they said in the episode, Coruscant hasn't been attacked in a while, so there's not much else to do for security I guess. What really bugs me is that they gave Prequels to episodes that did not need them. Hostage Crisis actually did because they needed to show how Bane got the into the building so easy and knowing where the Lobby was. Hunt for Ziro wasn't neccesarily a needed episode but it was good. Some episodes that I feel could do with prequels would be "Jedi Crash", "Zillo Beast" and "Bounty Hunters". (Well maybe these episodes don't need prequels but they do more than Senate Murders). Though Heroes on Both Sides and Pursuit of Peace were not needed at all, Did Senate Murders really need two prequels? Thought you might be interested to know the Name of the first Savage episode. Pretty simple title to guess "Nightsisters". To be Precise (Sorry if being precise in my case is annoying) Coruscant had not been attacked in a 1000 years and had given it's Residents a false sense of Security. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Well, as they said in the episode, Coruscant hasn't been attacked in a while, so there's not much else to do for security I guess. I suppose that's true, but I don't think the Clones are there just in case of a Separatist attack. Maybe they are, but we did see Fox running around and actually doing things in the Clone Wars film, so I would think with all of Cad Bane's mischief and other things going on they might stick some Clone Troopers on that. But you never know. This point really doesn't me bother me so much though; I like seeing Fox no matter what he's doing. There are far more annoying things in this show to spend time caring about. I loved that opening battle, it made the rest of the episode worth it. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) New video from You Know Who on his Youtube channel talking about some upcoming Clone Wars stuff in 2011. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D4udSEV-OUmY&h=6825d Sounds very interesting Ahsoka is taken captive to lure Anakin to the dark side. Corvus Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 Ahsoka is lured to the dark Side and Anakin learns his destiny from a Family of Force Wielders Were you listening? Ahsoka is taken captive to lure Anakin to the dark side. Completely different. I wonder how specific his fortune cookie is. It can't have been that specific, since he loses it anyways. Quote

Clone OPatra Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Hold on, TV Guide actually wrote that Darth Sidius issues a fatwa on Asajj? That is very strange, and very wrong… Quote
DarthSion Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I thought it was rather obvious they were wigs. So much for the whole secrets revealed thing, so far the only "secret" has been Lucas hard on for the war in Iraq, seriously enough of the Iraq stuff. Quote

I'm really not sure what all this hype about Lucas and Iraq's about. SW has always been relating to the situations in the real world, this is merely the same. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) Well I have got news from someone who went to the LA screening of the Savage Opress episodes Ventress was not Transformed into Opress (Like most people I know in other places thought) Merely Opress is created through some sort of Sorcery. Also Now Lucas has messed up using The Clone Wars again. Apparently the Screening states that Darth Maul is still alive and out there How can Maul be out there when Obi-Wan cut him in half? By the way Got word also which might interest DarthSion in patricular the Same guy (Sam Withwer I think) who plays Galen Marek is going to come and voice a Character in the Clone Wars (My hunch is he voices Opress) Second By the way Here is a image. You can clearly see King Kaatunko dead there. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=123169651075433&set=a.102468589812206.3505.102459479813117 EDIT: Stupid Image extension won't let me deeplink it Edited December 7, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

As messed up as the Clone Wars is, there is absolutely nothing to justify having Darth Maul alive. However, perhaps, because Opress is created by dark side sorcery, that maybe Darth Maul is, in a way, possessing Opress, even though he probably never had a mind. And we told you how unlikely that theory was. Quote

I somehow doubt that they'd actually bring back Maul- they've messed up something, but they wouldn't mess up something that big. Quote
Darth Jar Jar Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 (edited) I think asajj ventress actually transforms into opress there was this trailer on itunes today and it shows opress with the night sister magic around him just like in the other trailers with asajj I don't have the sneak peek right now but I will see if I can get it I also found this this pretty much confirms asajj is a nightsister http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHSjU_Z2ZRc&feature=related And here is another sneak peek link Edited December 7, 2010 by Darth Jar Jar Quote

Sorry to be so gloaty, but we told you so, Mr. It's-so-obvious. How can Maul be out there when Obi-Wan cut him in half? There are many EU stories which have Maul surviving or being resurected one way or another, my personal favorite being the SW Visionaries version: It would be pretty badass if this was the version they would use in the show, but I doubt it. I agree, though, that it is pretty stupid to say Maul is still alive. This show is trying too hard to do fan service. Quote

CMP Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Back On Topic: The guy I know who went to the screening didn't say Maul appeared but he was mentioned at being Alive In what way? Just as a question, is this a person you know, or did you meet him on Facebook again? Quote

Just the Nightsister witch "Talzin" I think mentioned he was still out there. No I did not meet him on Facebook though I understand why you ask. Quote
The Legonater Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 There are many EU stories which have Maul surviving or being resurected one way or another, Yeah, but none of those are official canon. Back on topic: I think the inspiration for the crew of the t-6 is the team that fought Opress, notice in a sneak peak we see all these Jedi getting a hologram from delta squad. Quote
DarthSion Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Wasn't Maul just cut across the stomach I didn't think he was actually cut in half. Maybe this is when proxies is made lol. As for stakillers voice, would not surprise me, he is hoping to play starkiller in the live action tv show. I still liked him better has hotdog. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Wasn't Maul just cut across the stomach I didn't think he was actually cut in half. No, he is cut completely in half, but after all, Grevious "exists" and he's got nothing but a few organs. There's plenty of other SW material as well where there are characters who have barely any of their body and are still alive. So, it really wouldn't be so surprising if Maul is "resurrected" here and there. Quote
Forresto Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 IGN has seen all tree parts of the Savage Opress trilogy. Apparently there were special screenings where all three parts were put together and shown in a movie format. Here's what they think. Link Well it really seems like this will be the kick we needed to get the show back to action. What do other people think of Ashoka attacking Anakain in the supposed preview after the screening? Has she turned to the dark side? Is she now a Seppie? Quote
CMP Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) 90 minutes featuring Opress? That's twice the exposure of Darth Maul! I am very glad of this, mostly of the no more political episodes for the rest of the reason. Is it known if the Opress trilogy will be aired as a movie? I'd assume no, but that'd be awesome.
