XimenaPaulina Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Well it really seems like this will be the kick we needed to get the show back to action. What do other people think of Ashoka attacking Anakain in the supposed preview after the screening? Has she turned to the dark side? Is she now a Seppie? Personally, I would love for such a dramatic twist of fate to happen in the series, even if it has to be with Ahsoka's character. I think that would make more sense for Anakin not mentioning her name in RoTS. I have a feeling that after the whole CW series is over, Filoni and his team might have invented a story convincing enough for the continuity to Ep.III. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I got word from the guy I know who went to the screening that Ahsoka (Not supposedly but definitly turns bad momentarily) and fights Anakin. Even Piell will also appear soon in the Clone wars after the Opress Trilogy. The story starts out with Dooku being contacted by Sidious. He wants Ventress killed. Ventress attacks Obi-Wan and Anakin's Star Destroyer. She shoots Obi-Wan down and he's forced to crash land on a Confederate Cruiser like scene in Revenge of the Sith (I was disappointed he didn't flip out of the ship like the film). She crashes in the hanger too and radios Dooku for help. He says sorry, you've failed me for the last time and leaves her for dead. They end up fighting in the hanger bay and she escapes, barely alive after the ship goes down and is blown apart. Admiral Yalareen might have died here, but he didn't because he's in A New Hope. The ship is ready to blow and begins to break apart and all three scramble to their ships. Somehow the ships work, don't ask questions they just do. She ends up unconscious in her ship drifting through space. Pirates pick her up and inject her with a stimulate. The pirate is a total hick Twilek with a cowboy accent. They crowd around her and she demands they take her to Dathomir. They laugh because there's nothing but fog and witches there. She does some Force Unleashed moves on them and they all die and she flies to the planet. She approaches the Night Sisters Temple and ninja chicks with electric bow and arrows threaten to kill her. Luckily the mother comes and calls them off. She remembers Ventress as one of their own. They do some scary chanting and carry her boy to a table. They have magic toxic water and they rub it on her body. These scenes are some serious occult shit from a 70s film or something. This causes her to see her life in a series of vision/flashbacks. We see Ventress as a child, born in the witch coven. They give her off to a crazy wizard dude or something because they owe him and they have to and he starts to teach her the Force/magic. She's probably 5 years old here. A Jedi comes in and starts fighting the village, killing her Master. He sees her use the Force to kill her master's attackers and takes her on as an apprentice. Years later her master is killed and she lashes out in anger at her master's killer, making her choice to use the Dark Side of the Force. The vision ends with Dooku's "you've failed me for the last time" scene. She's angry and pissed off. The Mother of the Night Sisters agrees to help her exact her revenge. These women are pure evil. The mother contacts Dooku and says she knows he needs a new apprentice. She offers him one of Darth Maul's kin. Dooku accepts this gift. Ventress and two girls are cloaked in magic that makes them invisible. They sneak into Dooku's house. with a poison dart. They shoot him with the dart and he goes blind. But Dooku doesn't need eyes to fight with his saber. They fight into a hall way and into a larger room. Dooku has enough and shocks the hell out of the girls and they flee. Ventress then travels to a far away village that Darth Maul originates from. There are dudes like Maul but they aren't as menacing. They seems somewhat noble. Some of these scenes seemed to be inspired by Spartacus and the training place. The commander of the clan orders all the leaders of the houses to fall in line and present themselves to Ventress. She walks up to some, punches them for being too short. Says one is attractive and kicks him down. Savage looks at his brother and says "keep quiet" and she picks Savage and his brother and one other dude. They are to fight her. They fight her and she beats their megablocks. She first fights them in the dark and kills the 3rd guy. The lights come on and she fights both men. She is about to kill Savage's brother when he begs her to let him live and he submits to her, presumably as her mate. Ventress takes Savage to the Mother Night Sister. They preform some sort of Satanic ritual on his body. He starts to convulse as he's consumed and possessed by their magic. His horns grow larger and his muscles bulge. He's like the Hulk compared to his previous self. He has a darkness in his eyes that wasn't there before. He grabs Ventress by the neck like a Frankenstein monster out of control. The Mother whispers to Ventress to tell him to stop. She screams it. But she says she must whisper it gentle and she does and he stops. They have total control of him. Ventress bring his brother into the room. She orders him to kill him. His brother begs for his life but he doesn't see it that and he kills his brother. Convinced they have total control, the Mother Night Sister gives him to Dooku. Dooku trains him in the Force by abusing him with lightning. He can't lift stones and in a scene that mirrors Empire, Savage says its impossible. Dooku shocks him until he starts to lift the stones out of anger. He shouts "I hate you!" at Dooku and Dooku says that's good because it's making him stronger. Dooku orders Savage to take out a temple that's housing Republic Forces. Savage rushes in, a clip we've seen, and cuts them all down. He kills the master and the apprentice. He reports back to Dooku who is pleased. They train some, he's tortured some more by Dooku. We then see the shots of the Republic Commandos bringing the bodies back home to Obi-Wan, Plo, and the gang. Yoda's intelligence tells them to go to Dathomir, they know he's one of the Maul guys. Obi-Wan and Anakin land on the planet and Maul and Savage's tribe attack them. They fight for a while and then they get the head of the Maul people by the throat and Anakin threatens to kill him. They tell him to go to the Mother of the Night Sisters (I got the sense they figured that would be death for them anyways). The mother doesn't want to fight them. She looks into her crystal ball and says he's on Toydaria. They rush there. Dooku orders Savage to abduct King Katuunko. We see Savage land on the planet. He kills all the Toydarians. Obi-Wan and Anakin confront him. He's throwing them around and stuff. The dark side really is the quick and easy path to power. Savage buries the Jedi under some debris. Savage grabs Katuunko by the neck and snaps it. He then flees to the ship dragging the dead body on the ground and tossing it savagely onto the ship. He lands at Dooku's base. Dooku is pissed. He wasn't supposed to kill him. He starts to torture Savage. Ventress steps out of the shadows. Dooku orders Savage to kill Ventress. Ventress laughs, taps Savage's forehead and he has to obey her commands. They start to fight Dooku but for some reason, he loses control of everything and attacks them both. Anakin and Obi-Wan catch up them and start fighting Savage. Ventress and Dooku fight one another. This is the best fight in the series yet. Ventress flees. Savage fights his way out and flees back to the Mother. She vows to help him get revenge (that seems to be her thing). She says he can do it... she walks over to a crystal ball. He can do it if he finds his brother... The camera zooms to the ball and Darth Maul's face is in it. He's alive and in hiding. He can find the answers by wearing a talisman that will take him to his long lost brother. Quote

But maybe your 'friend' meant Anakin's Starfighter and not 'Star Destroyer'(?). It would be interesting to also see Even Piell in the series. More appearances of the Jedi High Council Members in the series means more chances of them making it as lego minifigs. Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 So are there no new episodes until the Savage Opress episodes in... january? is the regular airdate? (I'm not gonna venture out of town to a theater for the early showing) Nothing between Pursuit of Peace and that upcoming arc? does anyone know? Quote
SpiderSpaceman Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 The new looks are great. It's neat that we're finally moving towards Ep. III styles, and also we'll be able to tell which episodes are prequels. The only 'negative' bit I see is Obi-wan's funny Open Circle symbol on his armor. Plus his legs and arms seem awfully skinny now with that armor gone. I think my favorite costume change is Anakin's. Now he actually looks more like Anakin, in my opinion. I agree on "the new looks are great" BUT They had a couple options with Ashoka here: Don't do the cutout Model some cleavage I don't care which and I know star wars is a family thing and the character modelers are too chaste to go near the womanly contours but seriously, one or the other. one solid mass directly under the fabric? as if it was a ripped away piece of orange peel? I just find it disturbing for some reason. Quote

No there was just the Special Savage screening which at the end showed the preview for the Episode after the Savage arc, in which Even Piell appears and Ahsoka is taken over by Dark Magic and Fights Anakin. I don't know if there is a Force Unleashed thread so I will leave it here for now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye8sT54AFrc&feature=player_embedded Edited December 8, 2010 by commanderneyo Quote

DarthSion Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 So after all this rubbish, what does end up happening, clearly the empire does not go bankrupt, so how do they recover all these debts. Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 From the spoiler in your previous post: Thats not mine. It's the Official review of the Screening found on the Millenium Falcon site and they listed Star Destroyer. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 It probably just means 'Venator,' which basically is a Star Destroyer anyway, just in an earlier version. Quote
Forresto Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Well they had one of the special premieres in my city and.......I missed getting a ticket by 2 minutes I couldn't find where the premiere was showing so I waited on grabbing the ticket and then when I went back several minutes later to get it, they were taken. I have the worst luck Quote

General Magma Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) The most Awesome Star Wars trailer is here of the second half of Season 3 and Dave Filoni confirmed there will be no more senate episodes this season!! http://insidetv.ew.com/2010/12/14/star-wars-the-clone-wars-trailer-an-ew-exclusive/ Ahsoka turns to the darkside... But Anakin is far more powerful than her: I bet this will be the last season we'll see Ahsoka. And then, I got one of the things I wanted to happen, at last. The rest looks really nice, too! I'm wondering who the guy with the purple lightning could be. A nightbrother? Okay, okay, bad joke. I see Felucia, some shuttles, and.. Wait, what? I just had a WTF moment. Anakin jumps into the air and turns into a bird? Okay.. Weird. Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to this. Thank you for the link. EDIT: Wait, I missed out on putting on the rest. Alright.. a guy in carbonite being carried away towards a ship, the Slave I perhaps? (Sounds familair, doesn't it? ) And well, the guy appears to be a clone officer. There's also some kind of a clonetrooper with new markings. No signs of Phase II yet, however. But.. more ARC troopers! ~ General Magma Edited December 14, 2010 by General Magma Quote
Oky Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Thanks for posting something credible for once that awesome trailer, commanderneyo. That looks pretty good, but then again, anything that has DotF as the score does and anything would be better than the last few episode we got. It's still hard for me to believe that Ahsoka would turn to the dark side just like that, but like someone already said, it would be the most logical way for her to disappear from the scene. My favorite bit: ARC troopers vs. commando droids. The Republic's best versus the CIS' best. This should be good. I just had a WTF moment. Anakin jumps into the air and turns into a bird? Okay.. Weird. Uhm... I don't think that's Anakin. Quote
General Magma Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) Uhm... I don't think that's Anakin. I just had another look at it, and you're right. It's that purple-marked nightbrother wizard-guy again. There are also 2 birds in an arena later in the trailer. Also, shielded commando droids? Hmm. Yellow energy shields. ~ General Magma Edited December 14, 2010 by General Magma Quote
CF Mitch Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) I just had a WTF moment. Anakin jumps into the air and turns into a bird? Okay.. Weird. I believe that is the bald guy with the red markings, who shot the purple lightning. The one you referred to as 'nightbrother' Edit: Oh, you already noticed But about the trailer... OH MY GOD! I'm not sure what is all going on, really, but it looked very cool. A lot of new stuff too, I think; planets, species (duh), and more Dark Jedi's/Sith's... fascinating. Though I'm glad about Filoni's statement that there won't be anymore senate episodes Thanks for the trailer, commanderneyo Regards, CF W Edited December 14, 2010 by CF WeaZZel Quote
commanderneyo Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 But.. more ARC troopers! ~ General Magma Would it make you happy to know the ARC Troopers are Pretty much confirmed to be Echo and Fives as they have the same markings? Quote
Corvus Posted December 15, 2010 Author Posted December 15, 2010 Wow. Some pretty trippy stuff going on in that preview. First, let me get this out of my system: Anakin: "NOOOOOOOOO!" Anyway. So, what are we seeing here? A guy who turns into a bat-thing? Dragons? Glowing spirit things? Spontaneously changing seasons? I'm not sure, but this is a pretty weird side of the Force. Clones have new blasters? Ahsoka's second lightsaber is yellow. Trandoshans! Lots of Trandoshans! And they're not fat! Obi-wan has a funky sword. Duel of the Fates made me happy. Quote

The Legonater Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 The second half of this season looks incredible! This new race seems like it could be a sweet enemy, as- of course- could Opress. This turn of Ashoka is indeed interesting. I was never Prosohka, but then again- I was never Antishoka. I guess I was Neutrisohka. As such, I really don't know what to think... but if the CW team messes this up, they're really down the drain. Quote
