I found some kind of preview for the next episode.

Atleast, I believe that it is for the next one. "Witches of the Mist".

Spoiler alert:

It appears that Asajj Ventress and Savage Opress are fighting Dooku, and that Savage has a new lightsaber already. But what about the training we've seen in the preview for the whole arc?

That is indeed the new episode. I'm wondering too, him having a lightsabre already doesn't make sence :sceptic:

Don't you remember how much the Clone Wars jumps around in the timeline? For all we know, this episode could take place weeks or a month later than the previous one. Or perhaps it will open with a bit of a training montage. Who knows. It doesn't seem all that surprising that they would cut to the chase and bring the 'Savaage a pawn of Ventress' into play. Since they are targeting a young audience, I can see why they would want to bring that in now while Ventress wanting revenge is still in the forefront of everyone's minds. If they left it until much later in the season, it might not seem as relevant.

I don't think it will be just a montage. Based on this new clip, I think

about half of the episode will be Dooku training Savage, and by the end, they'll attack Dooku.

"There is no try, only do," anyone?

Yeah, really. That first whole bit of dialog sounds almost exactly the same, up until the part when Dooku starts to torture him briefly. So I guess we'll definitely see some training, but how much is still in question. After all, this episode has a part with Anakin and Obi-Wan, and Ventress getting revenge, so that is an awful lot to cram into the time slot. I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't very many training scenes.

I know I'm a bit late to the party but Episode 13 was in my opinion a very strange episode.

Don't get me wrong, the action scenes where nice and all, but the episode raised so many questions. Just a hand full of those would be:

- Zabrak males on dathomir? what happened to the Zabrak females?

- The marking on the males where Sith tattoos on Darth Maul, so how do they get them?

- All the Males are Force sensitive and somehow related to Darth Maul?

- The CIS stages an assault on a ?jedi temple? with a handful of droids and the Republic defends with a few clones and two Jedi?, not to mention apparently nobody inside the building(though this was likely to time-saving).

I'm used to having a few eyebrow raisers per episode but this one topped it so far.

- I don't have an answer to that one, it is a bit weird.

- I'm fairly sure all Zabraks have tatoos.

- Maul probably came from the same village, and it never said they were all Force Sensitive. Supposedly only Savaage was, because of the 2nd task.

- I'm like 85% sure Dooku was just saying that to get Savaage to attack it. Something about the way he talked. I think it really was just a listening post.

Of course, most of these are just decent guesses.

Wow! Is he ugly! I think that's the worst Clone-Warsification of a character yet.

It's also a bit strange to have the actual actor from the films voicing a character. All of the other film characters in the series are voiced by different actors, which gives them cartoony versions of their real voices. That works well, IMO, since they look like cartoon versions of themselves as well. Hearing Liam Neeson's real voice coming out of that ugly guy is a bit odd.

Thanks for trying to explain some of this stuff, though I still have some doubts.

- I'm quite curious to see how they can explain a Zabrak male clan on Dathomir at all.

- It's true that all zabrak have line tattoos on their face, but I always associated the certain type of tattoo Maul has as Sith Tattoos, similar to the ones you see on Sith from the Legacy comic series like Darth Talon and that they were applied by (or on order of) Lord Sidious instead of being there at birth. Thus it must be a Retcon.

- Maul being from the same village is also a Retcon, as he used to be from Nar Shaddaa (if I remember correct). Doesn't change me from thinking it's another strange decision to change it, to be honest sometimes it feels like they don't even try to adapt it to things that have been established in EU canon.

- I'm quite sure it was a test, but the battle seems to small scaled to the point of being ridiculous. Over course episode time plays a role here.

Other concerns would be the strange ritual by the nightsisters, a 20 second ritual is enough to mind-wipe someone, increase his strength and turn him into a brutal killer, now there is a recipe for galaxy domination.

It was just a strange episode, which lot of retconning happening and some strange situations, but at least the action scenes were nice. Savage looks like a nice temporary bad guy, though I'm still waiting for Durge to make his appearance.

In retrospect the former Mandalore three episode story arc was also a work of retconning confusion (if you had any interest in EU material of course), so this makes me fear the next 3 episode arc. I presume the less you know of the EU the better The Clone Wars series would be.

He didn't look that ugly, to me. But comparing him to the other CW characters, it may make it a bit less worse.

Now we just need Rahm Kota and his militia troops in there.

Perhaps he could be teaming with Windu, since they were said to be friends? Well, it would be nice to have Kota there nonetheless.

Durge, anyone?

Season 4, perhaps.. Or late season 3? Who knows..

Durge, anyone?

Dave Filoni already stated around after Cad Bane's First Appearance that he is the New Durge as in he will be in place of Durge in the new Series and Filoni also stated therefore there is no need for Durge in the "New Series" so there is no hope of Durge Showing up anytime. Sad though that sounds it's true but I prefer Cad Bane anyway IMO

Actually Mace Windu is voiced by the same actor in both the the saga and TCW.

Nope. In TCW he's played by Terrence Carson.

Samuel Jackson did voice him in TCW movie, though. I wonder why he quite after the movie. Maybe they couldn't afford him?

All I can say is about the recent news is, Oh my god! Qui-Gon-Jin! Liam Neeson! Republic commandos! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *Faints*

Thanks for the nice info commanderneyo, I certainly didn't expect this one. IMO, the CW-sification of Qui-Gon is pretty decent. It's also good to know that Liam Neeson will voice him, it gives a certain connection of the CW to the saga. But why the heck is Obi-Wan holding his lightsaber against his ghost master? (sorry, haven't viewed the video yet).

So true! Thankfully we most likely will not see him in a set. :classic:

Well he express interest in wanting to do the series but Lucas Arts never asked him back. So yeah...

Wrong. Windu is Samuel L Jackson in the saga, and a TC someone in TCW.

Fett, however, was played by the same person- Daniel logan- is both the Saga and TCW.

He's talking about the Clone Wars film, which kickstarted the series. In the film, Windu is voice by Samuel L. Jackson, but in the TV episodes he is played by someone else.

Gah!! I already said that! Look up!

Any way, I'm looking forward to the conclusion. I wonder how it's going to wrap up. Mostly, though, I want to see the Commandos. I hope this means that they're going to do something with them, seeing as they already have the models.

Ohh yeah, your right, I was thinking of the CW movie bonus features  . Samuel Jackson is the bomb! My guess is the movie sucked so much he didn't want to do the show. Did you know that when they asked him to play windu in the PT he said he would, as long as he could be the only Jedi with a purple light-saber! He's Awesome!

Well, this is interesting. Not only do we get Qui-Gon, but a possible Darth Maul as well (for more info watch "Witches of the Mist").

I think that this whole Ventress revenge plot was set up so that Mother Talzin could give Maul either revenge or an apprentice. We shall see how this plays out...

The Mortis episodes look intriguing. I can't wait to see Ahsoka's decision. The Commandos and Tinn just get a brief part/preview in this episode (which is too bad) but I expect to see them again soon.

Well, the episode was alright, even though it was pretty predictable up to the end. Some nice action again. However, the ending was disappointing. I really think Dooku should have killed Assajj. Why didn't he order the droids to shoot all cannons at her pod or have Vulture Droids pursue it? :hmpf: I really don't want to see another episode with her because we all know she wont get her revenge, no matter how many times her Mother tells her she will.

Also, why did Obi and Anakin leave the ship without looking for Dooku? Couldn't they sense him? And how the hell did they survive getting crushed by a platform? It didn't look like they caught it with the force. :sceptic:

That last bit was intriguing. I don't think Maul is really alive though since Filoni said he is against bringing him back in the last commentary which was the whole point of creating Savage. I think he'll appear just like Qui Gon, as a force ghost. Although it would be questionable how he learned to become one. Perhaps the witches taught him that?

Speaking of Qui Gon, I think he looks pretty good. More accurate, in fact, than most CW characters, and with Neeson's voice, he's probably the most true-to-the-movie character in the show. That's my opinion anyway. At least he doesn't look as ugly as in the Clone Wars miniseries!

I think that this whole Ventress revenge plot was set up so that Mother Talzin could give Maul either revenge or an apprentice.

What? Why would Mother Talzin do anything for Maul?

I want to see the Commandos. I hope this means that they're going to do something with them, seeing as they already have the models.

Yeah, me too, even though I don't know much about them. Since ARC Troopers seem to be just regular clones with promotions in this show, they are the only hope we have at some cool elite clones. :sceptic:
