CMP Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Maybe it's a throwback to Witch Hunt mafia and there are actually no Nizams at all.
JimBee Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Maybe it's a throwback to Witch Hunt mafia and there are actually no Nizams at all. That's what I was rambling about before. I thought that by sending in your nigh actions, you'd become a Nazim. That doesn't seem too plausible now, but there's still the possibility of there being no Nazim. On the other hand, we figured it out this quickly. There probably are Nazim, they're just being sneaky. By the way, are the dead allowed to reveal their night actions?
General Redwater Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 By the way, are the dead allowed to reveal their night actions? Yes, may we?
Shadows Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 By the way, are the dead allowed to reveal their night actions? No. As much as I may love the confusion it would cause, it would pretty much insure the citizens lose as they would jump to the wrong conclusions. For example: Player A tries to kill player B but fails. People assume B is Nizam when in reality, A was simply blocked by another loyal citizen, A was dead before they could use their actions, or B was protected by a loyal citizen. I can also tell you that local citizens have protected (and continue to protect) the Nizam unknowingly, so revealing alliances could easily give people the wrong impressions.
Dannylonglegs Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 (edited) revealing alliances could easily give people the wrong impressions. I guess that means Fugazi's in trouble! And Arjay... Yeah.... ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited May 15, 2010 by Dannylonglegs
JimBee Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 No. As much as I may love the confusion it would cause, it would pretty much insure the citizens lose as they would jump to the wrong conclusions. And here I thought you had a sense of humor. Understood.
Shadows Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 *heads into the light, but ends up here anyway* So, this is hell. I always knew I'd be misunderstood and end up here. Whatever, might as well make the best of it. At least no one can doubt the existence of the Nizam anymore, since they killed me too. I do hope they kill that biryani chef tonight so at least we'll have something good to eat here.

JimBee Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 I'm surprised it was the Nazim who killed, you, Great Vizier. I would have thought some of the loyal citizens would've lost their minds after killing zero Nazim.

I would have thought some of the loyal citizens would've lost their minds after killing zero Nazim. Like you perhaps? I'm kind of surprised that I didn't die the first night. I guess the peasants must like abuse, cause I wasn't blocked that first night--It's not like any one suspected me. :skull: ~Insectoid Aristocrat
The Legonater Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Drat! I was wrong about Lefty! Well, now that your down here, could you finally answer my question about the traps?
Sisco Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 What a way to die. In a big, bloody battle. At least the person I was targeting is dead, too! And he was a Nizam! Success!(kinda). I think that The Crazy One might be a Nizam. We protected each other for two nights, but I think he might have double crossed me last night. I don't know. I hope that if he did, he turns up dead tomorrow .
RileyC Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 As an audience member Im pretty sure Def is one of the Nizam but Im not too sure who the other one is if there is two still left.
Sisco Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Aye, I expect the remaining Nizam to be Def and The Crazy One. That's just my opinion, though.
Inconspicuous Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Aye, I expect the remaining Nizam to be Def and The Crazy One. That's just my opinion, though. I have a funny feeling that you're right, for at least def. I think he double-crossed me too.
JimBee Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 I'd say that Stash2Sixx and Svelte are both suspects. Stash has been playing it safe by posting "nothing" in the threads, and later, complaining that he was a target. I don't remember anyone accusing him, so I just think he wanted protection. As for Svelte, what was the deal with him getting dragged away? What for? A clue? And hooray, Lord Arjay, for getting yourself stepped on by an elephant. Nice attempt to try to kill the host, but I knew Shadows didn't want to loose the title of the only one to ever kill the host.
Fugazi Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Oh well, no cake for me! Thank you Grand Vizier Shadir, that was a most entertaining game! It really proved that I am rubbish at choosing my targets, and this is where it got me. I really look forward to the conclusion of the game, can't wait to know who the other traitors were!
jamtf Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Somehow I feel I had it coming. Great game Shadows! Thanks for having me buddy. And of course good luck to my fellow Nizam players!
Lord Arjay Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Drat, ah well it was fun while it lasted. At least I got a huge ending, I must admit that I was suprised when I proclaimed to everyone that I was a nizam. By the end of the day I had figured out a few nizam including jamtf. Also upset that my other kill didn't happen otherwise I woud have gotten a nizam! I blaim Jimbu for setting the seeds of doubt in my mind, it is all your fault.
Etzel Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 I managed to mess it up quite a lot for myself the last day, not the smoothest moves. Ah well, I had some good killing before that at least. Go Nizam! Go Nizam!
Dannylonglegs Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Jamtf would have been my next target if I hadn't died! Oooh so infuriating. Finally, the living killed some Nizam! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Finally, the living killed some Nizam! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Well, some other players took care of that already! But I can guarantee that you did not get any of my killing votes in return, although of course I knew you had to be taken out sooner or later. And the remaining Nizam are living people too, I can assure you... Let's see how the story continues for the hours to come. There is nothing I can do anymore except remaining quiet. The good times of pot-stirring are over. In the end, all will be revealed by Shadows I am sure.
The Legonater Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 I love how calm he is about a guy who's clearly mroe than ready to kill him: "That isn't very nice, nor is it a particularly wise way to address me."

Honestly by the end of night three I had figured out you and PrEtzel were Nizam, though by then I had already sent in my own death sentance.
ILikePi Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) That was a hilarious themed month game, Shadows! <insert subject forum name here> would be proud of your huge success (in fact, it's hard to overstate my satsisfaction)! Portal references for the win! Would you like some to celebrate? Oh wait, it's a lie! Have some raw sewage containers vital testing apparatus pie instead. Edited May 17, 2010 by ILikePi
