Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Ok, here is our frigate for the redcoats, the HMS Thunderer. A far away view More close up. Behind the masts. The broadside. (Starboard) And then two upper pictures looking down. In the last picture you can see a green pirate below decks. Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 Really? I'll try to edit them again... ok, I tried stuff on bricklink and edited my post, what about now? Quote
tedbeard Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Until moderated by BS "staff" you have to use deeplinks (copy the URL as you actually are looking at an individual picture.) Or better yet, come into the 21st century and get a Flickr account. :) - no waiting - notes and comments - basic use is free and "pro" (unlimited pictures) is cheap Quote
General Redwater Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 You should deeplink it. There are tutorials here. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 Ok, we got the pics deeplinked. Apparently we didn't click the picture on BS to copy that url. Now what do you guys think? -the General and the Admiral Quote
General Redwater Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) It looks good! Nice job on the sails. - General Redwater Edited May 13, 2010 by General Redwater Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 13, 2010 Author Posted May 13, 2010 ...the sails are made out of trash bags... We did it so when we do "Pirate Battles", we can make holes in the sails to tell to accurately tell how fast she is going, and so we don't rip the original sails of the set. Quote

Captain Green Hair Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Apart from the sails and the hatch in the main deck, what is different from the original BBB? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 Well, the_green_avenger, the account is shared. We're brothers. If you read our intro, you'll see why. You'll know who posts by "the General" or "the Admiral" at the end. And Captain Green Hair, yes there are few changes from the BBB, but the Admiral and I are planning on building a frigate (using your guide of course ). With the completion of a new ship, we would begin investing time and money into upgrading both ships, so they are always around the same strength. The HMS Thunderer is being planned on eventually making its way to a first-rate-ship-of-the-line and the frigate being close to it. Quote
